...And suddenly plot development. (ノ゚0゚)ノ~

Shounen ai is stretching it, but that was definitely a nice tragedy piece. (Am I the only one that felt it was well deserved?)

Nitori was kind of the only reason I powered through this, the secondary plot was lost on me. They could have condensed it a bit, but watching his impact snowball was definitely the heart of the story.

    My exact sentiments. I just wanted to see Nitori have a HE, so I skimmed through everyone else's plot ^^;

The third story was my favorite, but this definitely has shounen ai in it.

The best friend bit cracked me up. But yeah, this is garbage.

I feel so slow because I didn't get it the first read, but this was really sweet.

The surrealism in the artwork was amazing. Reread it a few times to draw your own conclusions! <3

Honestly I'm not sure why shippers are flipping out over the ending. What were you expecting? Naruto was never a romance manga to start with. Shounen mangas are basically FRIENDSHIP. Read them with a pure heart people. (◕‿◕✿)

I shipped narusasu/sasunaru as my OTP years ago and naruhina as the crack ship (it was considered so unlikely back then that I remember people would bully others over it on DA), but I was happy with both chapters. Naruto actually became Hokage!! I wasn't expecting that. Akamaru being that old really got to me though. ᕙ(⇀‸↼‶)ᕗ

    thats the problem, there was way too much forced romance at the end most couples came out of nowhere because naruto was not a romance manga so it didnt focus on pairing, so why give it a romantic ending

    Im personally okay with it but i did found it weird

    Uhm... November 9, 2014 5:01 pm

    The fuck are you saying? The ending was so focused on romance.

    The function of the chapter was NOT romance. This is an epilogue. Authors use it to basically have total closure or leave some ties to a sequel. This is the latter case. We see Naruto implied as Hokage. We see a few implied roles of the side characters (Sasuke still wandering, Shino as a teacher at the academy, etc.) in the future for some closure that the subplots worked out despite the main story having already ended...the mending of the friendship between Naruto and Sasuke in 699. The "romance" we see is implied couples and children that are basically carbon copies of the parents.

    What you may not realize is that though its heavily implied, there is a distinct lack of declarations of love/weddings/dates. I'm not delusional but its arguable in theory that any of the couples are in fact not together because its not explicitly stated. Kishi didn't want to focus on that or else we could have probably had filler chapters building it up. This is basically wrapping up the series but at the same time leaving a few threads for a spin off with the children. It needs a canon basis so hence, random couples.

    yea well not every one sees it ur way, what u,me,or anyone think about the ending is an opinion after all so it doesnt really matter if u think it was not a romantic ending because for others it clearly was. Not trying to be mean either but i dont feel like writing 2 paragraphs just to explain that not everyone sees it ur way
