She’s only trying to help nakyum is being abused

I totally understand that she only wants to help her brother but, she also need to realise that even though he was and still is abused by Seungho, meddling could lead to even more abuses

I do agree slightly about her character though if I was in that position I probably be the same way just with some more backup to kick some ass

So the best option would be to do absolutely nothing and let him being abused then?

I do see where Mileminia is coming from. Her attitude when in HIS house was not appropriate especially if she wanted to help Nakyum get away. He could turn around and give Nakyum 30 lashes just because of her rudeness if he wasn’t at the point of falling in love or if any feelings existed. If she had walked in there respectfully, and did things more quietly then getting in Seungho’s face and everything, she could have been welcomed to come back but now because of how she acted, she has been threatened. It’s the maturity in the matter to be honest

I wouldn't called it immaturity. She acted out on her emotions and she has all the right to be mad. She has been searching for her missing brother for such a long time and now that she FINALLY found him, she realized that all this time he has been locked in with a psycho who has been abusing him, so much that he ended up having a Stockholm syndrome. Now that she finally found him, knowing all the pain he's been through, she can't even free him. If it was your own brother (or anyone you love) there is a lot of chance that the shock, the concern, the anger and frustration would be the first thing that comes. There is way too much informations so let her processes with all of them (especially since they're really shocking and painful) before expecting her to be analytical and reasoning (because you have to be calm to do that). I think that her reaction is pretty much realistic.

If you read the comment I made before the one you replied to, I actually had said that IF I was in that position I would probably react the same. My comment you’re replying to is coming from a reader analysis perspective of the characters and not my personal reasoning/ thoughts. I understand what you are saying though I’m stating that instead of just barging in that thinking about how to walk in there would have set up things to be easier for her to get Nakyum.

Also, I think it depends on the type of personality a person has due to the fact that people can approach sudden situations/news that they will still handle in an analytical way. However, like I said I’m not talking about my personal reaction or what I would do in the comment you responded to.

For one, I can say that because that’s my analysis on her character. Two, she can be immature and annoying while still having a normal reaction. Immaturity is normal. In any way, do you believe someone more mature than her would handle the situation in the manner she did? Back then especially had traditions in regards to respect of stature and wealth. For her to barge in and speak the way she did could bring shame onto her family and it doesn’t matter if she’s in the right or wrong.

So, if I want to say she’s immature and annoying, I will because that’s the whole point of this comment section. To have the ability to share my opinion and reader analysis on characters. Just because we don’t agree doesn’t mean that one of us is right and the other wrong. If you are looking for me to agree with you, that’s not what I’m here for. I’m just sharing what I see in regards to human behavior including emotional and character development.

But saying she's annoying and asking why she wants to "meddle" when you know her reasons and you're definitely aware that her reaction is understandable and normal... I don't know... it sounds quite contradictory.

I think you’re getting comments mixed up. I never said she was “meddling”. That was actually Mileminia who posted the comment saying that. I replied to it and said I saw what they were saying but I didn’t agree with the meddling aspect. I do see that her dialogue, maybe due to the translation, seemed to head in the “annoying” direction but overall my comment was in connection to the comment of how her actions could lead to more consequences for Nakyum in other situations involving showing respect to position and wealth back then. However, when did I ever say I agreed with the comment of her “meddling”?

If you’re trying to understand those aspects then it would be the best to ask the person who had stated them.
