As I read this story, the following sentence came to me... "Our parents don't know what's best for us, they want what's best for us based on what they've lived and learned. But who knows what is good for us is ourselves because we are individual beings, different from them".
Unexpectedly interesting. I like how this story can be taken to other subjects. Like the prejudice of human beings upon something they do not consider "normal".
