MC sounds and looks really distraught and scared, i think he’s being over the top because he’s in distress about how the plot is going and the fact that he can’t control where the story is going in this point in time. So I think he’s lashing out on his brother because theres a lack of control and derealization, MC clearly feels like he’s not in his own body and world so at least to me, if I was in a situation like that I think I would be over the edge aswell.
I absolutely agree. Not to mention that he literally can’t think to deeply about anything accept his goal. Anytime he does, he becomes insanely stressed and his body becomes insanely ill in response. In this scene alone, he’s in pain, bleeding from his nose, UNABLE TO STAND, and people expect him to be thinking rationally.
