Sorry but I feel nothing for the MC, he deserves to suffer. The victim here is the father, imagine living with your sons murderer. Fuck, I feel so much hatred.

I think you shouldn't read this kind of stories with such Manichean mindset.
Humans are not that simple.
All the characters in this story are very human. They have flaws, that's how we stupid creatures are.
Life is a bitch and makes us assholes, even if we are narcissistic enough to always judge others and think shits like "I'd have done better", the truth is that we all suck at least as much as these guys. In their situations, we would probably have done worse.
At least the author had a thought for innocent snowflakes and made the collateral damages minimal.

Life isn't black and white and certainly, I am not judging the mc solely based on hurting his dad's son. His overall behavior was shitty, everything about him was beyond bad.
Even his dad was nearly on the same level of bad. Whether his actions were done for his son or not, doesn't matter to me. The regret he showed at the end made me despise him less.
Thats what made the whole story better, ig?

Maybe you didn't say it right then, because the dad is not the victim, Eunseung is. And he also wasn't all white, he got involved with Minjae who was literally going through Hell every single day, but never cared for his feelings or situation, he was just rubbing his fluffiness and sparkles on Minjae's face. The development was actually logic.
The dad was even worse, he knew about Minjae's circumstances and went to insane lengths to get revenge... For nothing more than hurting someone.
Taehyun tried to manipulate Minjae to get him back,
Suho also tried to drop the bullying on Minjae because he didn't remember him,
all the characters had different depths aside from the director of the orphanage (she's just shown as fucking monster and nothing can justify her actions) and the bullies (we know nothing about them).
But the story was good.
And if it can open even one person's eyes on the fact that not everything can be seen with the eyes and that people are shit, it's even better ^^

Good thing opinions vary and interpretation of stories such as these are different.
Both were victims? Sure
Both were bad? True
Did I hate him more than the dad? Yes. Why? The dad showed regret for his behavior at the end, we could see the fact that it did not go as he planned.
The son was just possessive kid without any development throughout the story.
This is v weird. I've read a lot but what the hell. Where's the safe word at least?
