I started to read this because of the cover imaging thinking the MC was going to be heartless but ended up with someone that cared too much... If this manga continued I would've wanted him to end up like how I originally thought he was going to be, it might sound horrible but I'm super interested in that type of manga.

I've seen people say that, why does her father and the ML like her now. The father has always loved her and you can see that before she got reincarnated, her father handed a knife to her so she could kill herself and not go through the humiliation of getting executed publicly, a lot of nobles wouldn't have done that for their children since they would've been ashamed of that child. If he truly didn't care about her then why would he have done that? Regarding the ML if you were to look through some of the chapters whenever he came into her room one night, he slowly started to get captivated by her considering his Master (the father) is starting to show his feelings/emotions for the FL. If I were the ML and my master started showing feeling that he has never shown before to his child I would've started to see what they were like, and that is what the ML did hence the reasoning for why he is now starting to like her, considering he has actually got the chance to know her after her reincarnation.
I will also add this part because I've been seeing people talk about the misunderstandings, there really isn't any misunderstandings. The FL doesn't know that the ML is actually the Crown Prince as of chapter 22 (time I am writing this) so of course she is going to be scared when she sees that her father circled the Crown Prince's name of her possible suitors. She thought that the reason that her father circled that is because he wanted her to marry the ML but in reality she doesn't because of the trauma he caused her in her past life. Hopefully that will clear up any misunderstandings since I don't want anyone/the story to get bashed. T-T
Actually, I think the father handed her a knife to protect herself just in case, after all they were going to rebel and he needed her in a secluded place, alone, so she wouldn't be implicated. Also, when the crown prince says something about torturing her to the guards, I think it was a facade, because when she killed herself he screamed for her to stop. That thing about trying to get information from her doesn't make sense taking into account that he's her father's student and he doesn't have a good relationship with the rest of the royal family. This is just my theory tho

Good theory, but myself personally I am still having questions since I am thinking multiple reasons to why he gave her the knife so I just said so she could kill herself since that is the best reasonable answer we can get, it would be nice if we could see what happened in her past life after she did that but it might not happen.
