Though I didn’t read the novel I could feel so many things were cut off because of the adaptation.
This manhwa was more focused on comedy theme with deep emotional of father - daughter bonding rather than the dark subject matter of novel.
Obviously I understand why everyone is so obsessed with particularly this manhwa. It was undoubtedly because artist Spoon so beautifully draw the emotional expression with her intricate art skill.
It was so human like. One will definitely feel so attached with the character when they read it, like i'm one of them there.
Throughout the reading I never once feel bored, I eagerly awaiting for what will come next.
They did cut off a lot of the novel, the never did the extras
I like complex things to read, and this manhwa perfectly exemplify this intricate human psyche of our daily life with all these twisted characters.
Here no one is innocent or pure hearted, and you can't just call the FL dumb, innocent or irritating because she got her own circumstances and while dealing with it she also became critical on her own.
This age-gap, the connection between one characters to others and how all this demonstrate is close to our nowadays life.
I'm eagerly waiting to read more of it and the reason is i'm totally invested in it the way author-nim inscribed it to readers.
How should I say, this mangaka-san really got a eloquent skill in portraying human relationship, emotions in sorrowful and bitter way.
Reading her works you will suddenly feel a surged of raw emotions, wanting to know more then there is nothing.
Who knows how Vincent really lead his life, as we know how sorrowful it was, but there is no harm to think he maybe really lead a happy and ignorant life to his own fullest and died.
No one will be able to know and that won't matter as they leave this world and left those amazing piece of work.
When I start this I knew it would be bitter, but this bitterness really hits hard.
It was tormentedly painful. Though I knew something devastating like this was coming, I wasn’t ready..
Every life is different, each one has their own story to tell and in the end of their life they want to cherish what couldn’t but wanted to. Hardship of one's life, regret, agony, the time we lost, things we couldn’t cherish, love that never return, life that give us nothing and realization after death. Wanting all those what we could get if we try or maybe they were never meant to be for us. But then one thing 'live' we all have to do...
It was so sad in a way and beautiful another way. And what linger in me is beautiful experience.
Yumi found happiness and fulfilment in her life and left her negativity.

I start reading it knowing it would be painful. The art remained me of the mangaka Sahara Mizu-san. It has a melancholic tone in it, a pain stuck in your heart unable to express from where it came from. You become one of among them, an invisible one around them and feeling all those suffering.
But I love this kinda story that shattered me, because then I find a reason to read those and experience different shades of human psyche.
It was so short but it touch depth of a person psychology.
It shows a person has various self according to whom he approach. Like Mr. Tsuda. He was gentle, warm teacher but devoted husband. Ristu a child who had to be strong as a child. And Yuki who is perplexed with her own feelings.
The only thing I'm sad about is that the raw emotion in the novel I experience couldn’t find in the adaptation. The pain, agony, helplessness felt more than hundred percent vivid in the novel.
Why, just why my most two favourite novel adaption got ruined by art !
The sensitive issue contain in this story about a married couple and their conjugal life, where both off them came from totally different circumstances and they had to overcome all those differences to reach a certain point to understand each others. They had to amend for those moments what slip through from their finger and had to learn the hard way and gain how to trust each other.
There journey wouldn’t be this excruciating if they could get support from their close one's, but rather helping those people drove them to the breaking point, that was so hurtful for them to endure.
Miscommunication, misunderstanding, insecurities, self deprecation and prejudice all these make it overbearing for them, even then they just couldn’t simply overcome it if that what they wanted most, they had to try their best to learn WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOU and make this journey most wonderful for readers.
I cried, I felt pity for those two, I laugh, I was overjoyed and I was genuinely happy for them.
It was like, I also get mature with this couple.
It was a great journey with ups and downs.
What I liked most about it was the humour, when everything is so serious and nerve-racking there comes a moment you couldn’t hold the heaviness of that situation and laugh so loud.
This manhwa lived on it’s name perfectly Charlotte and her Five disciples
Like man not a single disciple possess a healthy affection towards their master. She can't even took a moment of breather. But then that’s what make this one what it is.
Never once I doubt Jeffrey wouldn’t be the one for Charlotte, like is that even possible to expect someone ( God knows who!) aside from Jeffrey beside Charlotte!
But I pity Evan at the end. Though he was not the easy one you can simply tolerate throughout reading, because most of the occurance took place for his unhealthy obsession. It was not easy to be in his place and there will always be a consequence for what one did, but then again I pity that poor Soul what he had to endure.
