I start reading it knowing it would be painful. The art remained me of the mangaka Sahara Mizu-san. It has a melancholic tone in it, a pain stuck in your heart unable to express from where it came from. You become one of among them, an invisible one around them and feeling all those suffering.
But I love this kinda story that shattered me, because then I find a reason to read those and experience different shades of human psyche.
It was so short but it touch depth of a person psychology.
It shows a person has various self according to whom he approach. Like Mr. Tsuda. He was gentle, warm teacher but devoted husband. Ristu a child who had to be strong as a child. And Yuki who is perplexed with her own feelings.
The only thing I'm sad about is that the raw emotion in the novel I experience couldn’t find in the adaptation. The pain, agony, helplessness felt more than hundred percent vivid in the novel.
Why, just why my most two favourite novel adaption got ruined by art !
The sensitive issue contain in this story about a married couple and their conjugal life, where both off them came from totally different circumstances and they had to overcome all those differences to reach a certain point to understand each others. They had to amend for those moments what slip through from their finger and had to learn the hard way and gain how to trust each other.
There journey wouldn’t be this excruciating if they could get support from their close one's, but rather helping those people drove them to the breaking point, that was so hurtful for them to endure.
Miscommunication, misunderstanding, insecurities, self deprecation and prejudice all these make it overbearing for them, even then they just couldn’t simply overcome it if that what they wanted most, they had to try their best to learn WHAT IT MEANS TO BE YOU and make this journey most wonderful for readers.
I cried, I felt pity for those two, I laugh, I was overjoyed and I was genuinely happy for them.
It was like, I also get mature with this couple.
I have to say, this is one of most wonderful Villainess story I have read.
How author portrait the psyche of every individual character was unfathomable. A person who suddenly found her-self in a world what she read about and her inner termoil, distress, and desperate plea to return to her world is so vivid to some point it gives horrendous sensation to readers.
Here, Author touch the most excruciating side of a delusion world which the readers always fantasized to experience, and show what we think would be so amazing, there could be so much more than fantasy and when we have to face those in reality.
Does it ever occur to them, like, let's talk. What is in your heart! What's wrong with you! Are you feeling sad? Why are you Sad? Today we will talk our heart out and then make out with body.
I mean i'm no against all those spices moment, rather I seek for those, but I got my patience, I mean you know...

That's right.
I understand this story is relies on miscommunication to carry on, but there is something like talking and clear out misunderstanding which is more exciting for us readers. But guess, mangaka is adamant to make the ML so blant and hot for activities rather than be vocal.
The mangaka wants both to not talk things right? Not only him but also her, she made her mind when she got married and he has told him multiple times to talk to him, he also always says she IS his wife and shows love with actions, somehow the FL still doubts and doesn't talk at all, doesn't even crosses her mind even if they already went through the samr issue like 3 times already.
About the ML I agree with both, he is your usual stoic , "show love mostly through actions" but lacks the words in the really important moments.
Is a good story but the mangaka should stop relying in the miscommunication aspect so much.
Our Bertia is so dumb and airheaded that I found her so adorable, and, Cecil is so cunning and composed that I found him so attractive.

Yeahh, and that's exactly why they fit together so well. They're just each other's opposite, one can do whatever she wants without a care, and the other is always calculating his moves. They fit like a puzzle and we all love it.

If you got strong heart and patient, and interest in political issue then you must and must read it.
This work is a wonderful creation of author. It got so heavy at the episode 90 that i had to pause in between to brace my heart.
All the character's created by the author and how author use them was wonderful. While reading this manhwa sometimes, one will feel so close to reality that will make you so frustrated.
At one point i could not forgive Harzen because of karlon death. I know karlon was not innocent then again he had no choice in this shrewed political statistics world and i believe a true leader could never be flawless. He did whatever length he had to go for his family and even he died for his family over what he care most. My heart still hurts when i feel he is no more. But then i understand karlon death was plot device and the reason for our Ercella to shine as Marchioness And thus i respect the author-nim.
I wanted to know more about Eshahilde, because, she is the one i felt most pity for, and i understand why karlon try every scope to put her pride intact.
It was so sad in a way and beautiful another way. And what linger in me is beautiful experience.
