I know I sound like a broken disc, but for me there are two sacred rules in Yaoi and that is, No Cheating and No Hitting, unless the element is effectively used for a dramatically well executed character and/or plot development; with this said, I felt a bit disappointed with this story because in my estimation the plot was not only simplistic, but the Seme was a cheater that got his happy ending too easily. The uke should have made it more difficult for the seme to win him over, as it stands, the uke came off a bit pathetic; however, I did enjoy the story and the art is beautiful.
well, even though this is not yaoi, but actually shounen-ai, I loved it; however, it was difficult to suspend my disbelief to accept stiff and dignified England in the role of an erotic stripper, LOL! Reversed roles would have made more sense :D

Couldn’t help noticing after wading through all the hatred directed at Yoshinari from the comments here, that very few people seemed to be bothered by the fact that both Jyunsuke and Shinobu cheated on each other; I mean, the manga’s opening with Shinobu flagrantly cheating on Jyunsuke with Kimura, openly admitting that it had been a long time since he had felt such “joy” and hoping that Jyunsuke would be “asleep” were clear signs of a licentious promiscuous dishonest individual; and Jyunsuke, despite the fact that he was fortunate to have come from a privileged upbringing that afforded him an education, chose instead to prostitute himself just to be close to Shinobu. Now, I’m not going to bash either of them because I loved both their characters, but objectively speaking, they were both much more worthy recipients of people’s vitriol than Yoshinari. Both Shinobu and Jyunsuke were adults in their mid-twenties with the street-smarts experience and mental maturity to differentiate between right and wrong, yet they both continuously kept making stupid, dishonest decisions to hurt each other and hurting others along the way; Yoshinari on the other hand was their complete opposite.
Yoshinari was a teenager with a very sheltered upbringing with zero experience of the world with a child-like mentality. He suffered from severe inferiority complex because of the stigma of being “the mistress’s son”, for being illegitimate, for being continuously compared with his overachieving half-brother and from being neglected by his father; a very lonely teenager with deep emotional issues hungry for both his father’s and brother’s recognition, a teenager desperate to forge his own identity and to emotionally connect with someone, ends up in the world of prostitution where his brother works, his first sexual experience is being raped by an evil hag obsessed with his brother, is betrayed by someone he trusted as part of a revenge plan against his brother, and again, he’s in the middle of an environment where sex and using others is done nonchalantly and where everyone is always literally fucking. It was pretty much throwing a lamb into the lions’ den and all I can say is thank goodness for Haruto, because if it wouldn’t have been for him, Yoshinari’s life would have been irreparably damaged. If people can easily rationalize and forgive Shinobu’s and Jyunsuke’s unscrupulous behavior, then it is illogical and unethical to hold Yoshinari to a different standard, especially when his specific circumstances as noted above, compel greater understanding and greater empathy.
They were in their early twenties actually. No one is denying things were off in their relationship. Stop trying to make one out to be more worse than the other. People have every right to criticize yoshonari. He makes mistakes. No different than his brother and his lover. If you haven't noticed no one is without fault.
If you can slow yours self to treat him like a child, but can't give the same sentiment to two people in their early twenties with a lack of direction in their lives....Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
And WHOOOSH goes the point over your head, sweetcheeks. There was NOTHING in what the OP said about the relationships that even REMOTELY implies that they think that one or the other of them aren't deserving of criticism. In FACT that's exactly what they SAID. That both of them ARE deserving of criticism...? Oops? What they ACTUALLY said is what you are attacking THEM over. Maybe you're so BUTTHURT that you don't pay attention to anything beyond the end of your nose but the OP WAS trying to point out that you and your fellow ilk were attacking Yoshinari with hateful vitriol yet leaving Shinobu and Junsuke COMPLETELY ALONE. Then YOU have the GALL to turn around and accuse THEM of doing the same thing with Shinobu and Junsuke? WOW. Reading comprehension, peeps. It's your FRIEND not your ENEMY. OOOOOPPPPPSSSSS?
I know that Shinobu cheated on Junsuke, which really left a bitter taste in my mouth, but i when did Junsuke cheat on Shinobu? I don't remember something like that. Also, Junsuke never slept with his costumers so he has never cheated : which he totally should, since he was cheated on by that idiot Shinobu.
Well, I guess it had to happen sometime, an Omegaverse story I don't like. I love Omegaverse, but this shit is depressing; an utterly contemptible sadist, a cheating bastard, a gullible idiot and an indecisive fool. Can't make myself like any of them, but I do feel sympathy for the gullible idiot and his childhood indecisive fool of a friend and want them to end up together.
