Downgraded and dropped. This went from an adult thriller manhwa with semi interesting plot and characters (cheating but loving wife, obsessed delivery boy, tsundere assassin husband, assassin organization, etc.), into the typical plot-less disgusting hentai horror. The manhwaga is no longer going for cohesive storytelling but is now about shock effect which I can't stomach.
Very eloquently put. The moment they walked the wife into the room and showed chicken boy's impending torture scene, I got a sick feeling, which I'd only gotten from reading messed up stuff like Harada's Gintama dj's
╥﹏╥ though at times I go back to Harada who sometimes surprises us with fluff, I doubt I'll be coming back to this (/TДT)/
There is one of Harada's djs that I wasn't able to take, but other than that, I enjoy her work because they tend to delve into the darker psycho-social aspects of the human condition which never feel gratuitous. A lot of Harada's thematics usually elicit very strong emotional responses which leaves you feeling like you rode a roller coaster after reading her work; that's why she's one of my ultimate favorite mangakas. It's funny you mention Harada here, because in another post where I'm reiterating my criticism of the direction this Manhwa has taken, some dumb-cat behind the veil of "Anonymous" made the vacuous claim that I'm being hypocritical for liking "rapey" Yaoi "which is only about sex sex sex" while criticizing this manga, which only shows how uneducated or ignorant people are about, not only Yaoi, but fiction genres in general; forget about the myriad yaoi mangas of deep complexity like those of Harada's and Yoneda's caliber, but even the most simplistic one-dimensional Yaoi or shounen romance smut (which I do enjoy if specific aesthetics and romance elements are met) are far tolerable than a bunch of ugly bastards brutally raping gratuitously a woman or young man.
I agree about Harada's works having their own charm where even though I get a chill seeing things are taking a dark turn, I still keep reading cos I wanna see how they'll play out, like Yoru To Asa.
This on the other hand has started becoming way too gratuitous, like torture for the sake of torture, and I don't understand where they're trying to take the plot. Plus I can't really get behind any of the characters anymore so there's no reason I wanna continue..
I have no beef with harada and I've read literally all her works I could find but the only one I couldn't stomach was this one http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/gintama_dj_kabe/ . I read that dj till the end and was so shaken, and even the one where Gintoki gave Hijikata
Wow, I'm with you on this, that is a.w.f.u.l ... O.o I had not checked this one out and it does leave with you with a very troubled feeling because you realize that it's just torture for shock value, it is meaningless. I usually don't read her Gintama djs as I tend to stick to her original stories/mangas. The Harada dj I wasn't able to to stomach is this one:

It's the Yoru to Asa dj that depicts a more brutal version of Asaichi's torture. I just couldn't take it, I don't understand why she had to go and draw a more brutal version when the scene in the original manga was bad enough. But the bottom line is that I agree with you, that this is the exact same reason why I'm dropping this manga. I don't enjoy gratuitous brutal rape and much the less gang rape; that type of shit is just too awful and this is where this manga is spiraling down to.
That deep red bite is saying "NO OTHER MOTHER FUCKER is EVAH EVAH EVAH EVAH EVAH EVAH TOUCHING YOU AGAIN, GOD DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!"...hahahah... LOOOOOOVE it ! I love them so much!

Kudos to our Scanlation Dream Team for their diligence in getting these translations out to the community as fast as possible, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude, thank you, thank you so much!! ヾ(☆▽☆)
OMFG! Why did I reeead this! I'm happy for their happy ending, but now I cannot cannot cannot cannot stop thinking about him being possibly raped by that pedophile! That's why he forgot about the whole thing, his overwhelming guilt most probably triggered the amnesia...oh gosh...no no no no no, can't get rid of that image, the car driving away....poor babies!....oh fuck! now I'm going to be walking around with a black rainy cloud over my head for god knows how long..fuck fuck! ( T﹏T )
Chapter 4 was dark and interesting; however, chapter 5 was unbearably cartoonish. I came here straight from reading "Kurui Naku", which had me gushing with tears and emotions, so you can imagine my reaction when I read this!... O.o LOL!! That was sooo not sexy at all...smh
In a more serious tone, after recently reading some extremely interesting Omegaverse stories framed away from the typical "me Tarzan you Jane...have my babies" trope, cliches such as this one just feel flat and I hope we see less and less of them. Putting the cartoonish dialogue aside, I found it extremely offensive to my romantic sensibilities that Takeru, the uke, could so easily disregard or give up on his so called "love" and commitment for his friend Kanata without putting not even an ounce of a fight against his instinctive attraction for Luca, whom he had not even seen for years! and at that point, hardly knew at all. It was like, "Oh, sorry Kanata, my fated one is Luca...see ya!" wtf! That's promoting the idea that feelings, emotional connections and bonds that have been nurtured for years out of free will are meaningless in the face of animal instinct; and yes yes, I know this is the Omegaverse, but we have already seen better stories.
Tch! My omegaverse standards have risen (as much as they can rise for the omegaverse) because we have already read superior stock.
I had completely underestimated this little unassuming manga, but boy, did it turn out to be so emotionally engaging. So many beautiful and painful aspects. I loved the friendship between Tanabe and Hayasaka, and I empathized with all my broken heart with the sadness, loneliness, emotional deprivation and just plain hunger for human connection all three of them experienced, and for all those reasons, their happy ending is especially fulfilling. The feels on this one were unexpected and I the tears just gushed and gushed
