Like I TOTALLY understand where Shizu is coming from but like, he's been kind of dense too, right? He says that about the others but hasn't realize Hiragii loves HIM.
Hiragii admiration for Yuki can totally be misunderstood so again, I get Shizu and what he means! (Maybe there were faint feelings for Yuki too at some point but doesn't change the fact that Hiragii adores Shizu and does what he can to be together)
So my guess is dat they experimented on Liam with magic and such O: heis view on relationships is twisted because of that and maybe thats why social relationships and attachtments feels imprisioning to him! thats just my speculation tho

Me thinks both brothers need therapy. Confrontations and such, inferiority and superiority complex. Everyone expects Theo to be nothing and everyone expects Nick to be everything, equally toxic, they grew twisted because of it. Still, even with having bad habits hard to get rid of, Theo is doing his best to improve while Nick succumbed to the expectations of him and remained twisted. To me Theo is the better person here, just for wanting to improve.
You know I always wondered about Namkyun's hair in the main story, like, why is it short? if you know, in confucianism philosophy, your body belongs to your parents so something like cutting your hair would be a disgrace, in places like china that would have been done to criminals or other people to disgrace them and that kind of thing, but what about in corea and Namkyun's case? does that logic apply there too and he was disgraced? thats what I wonder about
Nah it's just another historical inaccuracy from the author. She drew him with short hair because she likes it better this way. And I agree with her, I can't really picture him with long hair now but it's prob bc I'm not used to it.
