I felt the art was so off when I was reading this again and so I went from chaoter 40 to 1 and my god the art has gotten so much worse and ik a little dramatic but goodness so I skipped ahead to the latest and it has improved just a slight bit but wow if only yaoi art was treated the same as straight romance art and only got better as it went on well oh well
This is one case where its not homophobia. Art in straight romance also just gets worse sometimes. Deadlines pile up and shit has to get out quick
It often gets worse in all genres, because of the harsh working conditions. I heard one artist describing how it is and it sounds like slavery.
I've only seen one or two cases in straight romance where art gets better, rest of all cases they get worse too. So it isn't a matter of genre I suppose.
I've heard that as well. Particularly for artists in cultures with overwork cultures.
I also noticed a bit of a downgrade in the faces mostly how far apart yuders eyes were and I thought maybe I was tripping but then in this most recent chapter the proportions were slightly off in kishiars face as well. I love the art it’s prolly just the pressure and rush the artist is facing as of late I don’t mind too much since the story’s so intense and exciting my minds to preoccupied to even care about some panels looking off!
Okay okay this story has so much potential but mc has the personality of a paper bag, like his mother, though dislikeable, is way more interesting than him or his father, unfortunately he inherited his father's paper bag qualities. And like blonde hair and blue eyes is so seen and so is white hair and red eyes but not for the bottom of a historical yaoi, so missed opportunity. Okay and the whole title "rogue prince" but he's so bland and his only "rogue" trait being he drank too much and that was only seen so rarely, and the other bit of being hard to interact with also being so unseen, anyways i wish with his harsh upbringing by his mom he could've become meaner and more bratty and ml would come in and like have to mellow him out but he'd still be like his newer self then the baby innocent kid he was. Like I just kinda wish mc was somewhat anti hero type but mainly due to trauma and negligence from his father and harsh guidance from his mother but whatever, whatever would've made a more interesting reunion arc bc this is just so vanilla not even in a good way just bland and ml is carrying any emotional attachment I ever had to the story, he has more personality than everyone but maybe the mom, anyways whatever
I was hoping this would be romance but when I heard 30 years I knew it would be with that new guy, he's not bad just so boring and the cute puppy dog ml blondie would be so cute but whatever whatever at least I like mc and her cat
Just a question I read this and then stop bc it gets so slow and I just can't then I reread all those chapters again then i get a little further then it cycles, is this more entertaining at chapters 70+ asking just to see
Honestly, i perfered the light novel. The paving is better and thinks are more interesting. I dont think the manga does a good job getting across certain emotions and so on. Also, the light novel is very easy to read, which was good for me because i struggle to read a lot of ln because how they're formulated due to translation
Wait this means our mc will turn into that very beautiful man? I really hope that happens somewhat before the story ends like towards the climax maybe even more a season 2 I love appearance changes especially when this genre is heavily filled with young black short haired men

I'm rereading this bc I like it and I haven't been keeping up for a few months and dang I forgot how different the artstyle changed in season 2 like it slightly changed halfway through season 1 but I forgot why I didn't like season 2s art now I remember but maybe I'll change again I haven't gotten this far last time besides obviously getting to season 2
