You’re right ! I try to stay away from webtoons with kpop and romance in the plot because of these type of stuff (and the fact that they’re super cringe) but I saw an edit of this one and got curious and I can’t tell how disappointing it is.
Honestly the author is kinda weird for that no matter how much they want to sell their story trying to paint them as the villain for having a drink together and complaining about valid stuff for the most part is lame. And the fact that we’re supposed to root for mc despite her possibly being a stalker and someone who goes around exposing these people in the name of self righteousness is a big no ! Even tho it helped yoohan in the end it still left a bad taste in my mouth.
Those weird fans aren’t even the main consumers of webtoons so trying to pander to them doesn’t even makes sense to me.

From the direction the manhwa has written the characters erez not being the ml will be immensely unsatisfactory Joseph is a good guy and a cute innocent lead but to be honest hes just not interesting enough theres not much depth to his character outside of hia devotion to keria and the development liie real relationship development has been between erez and keria his powers also arent very significant the story is going towards demons and maguc tower lore and unless he becomes a sword master(out classing keria the main character and taling away form the impact of her power in the manhwa) he has no chance going forward kerias powers and magic will play a large part i dont think he'll be able to impact the story enough to be male lead (︶︿︶) sorry Joseph fans

she prolly thought of them as change able cuz the novel she read glossed over a lot of things and made how bad they where seem less intense i think this is the first time she actually seen them as real people with problems and a way of life she cant just make vanish
