Been letting this marinate since I read up to chapter 17 like 2-3 months ago. And now I see its up to 35 chapters, questioning if I should let it sit for a while longer.

Can't find anything good to read, and I just read some wild as hell manga that I can't get behind at all.
I like the story but it's a bit off putting for me at the same time. I don't like that the child Damien is already the ml and we can tell so early on. It feels like the fl is just treating the ml as a sibling and I would have preferred if it could have gone in that approach.
I'm only in the early chapters but it just clicked for me when the scene with the orange haired kid wanting to sit next to fl at the orphanage and Damien just starts glaring and being aggressive? The portray of kids/ boys liking people when they're young, means they hate seeing they be nice to other guys
I dislike it but at the same time it is similar to other stories so I don't hate it.
These stories usually start of with meeting at childhood and the main character being an adult in the past, but this one in particular, the fact that she's an adult is really nagging at me when I'm trying to read it. Cause she's treating all the kids like kids.
The fact he (ml) seems to like her is also so quick to develop that it feels like it's pushing it along too quick. Also the duke saying that he'd adopted the fl as a daughter in law felt very strange, though I'd only seen that part elsewhere, I'm not up to that part yet.
Not the cover art being cute and me reading the title and doing a double take.
Then reading cause I got curious only to question what the HECK I just read.

I had a physical reaction from how hot the mc was in the first chapter. In fact, I am still on the first chapter. Like I literally caved, curled up on my bed in adoration for this fictional art mc. We also love soul shaman stuff.

Let me guess. That black haired, red eyed one is going to be the ml? Would have really liked if they just were siblings, like the dad adopts the kid like the og storyline the mc talks about. The norms for these kind of stories are getting kind of boring now for once.
