I think it's shounen ai and is only one or two chapters, it's very short. The main characters are a man with a sick wife (is he a farmer? lumberjack? something along those lines) who encounteres a young man (he turns out to be the spirit of a tree), takes him in and they spend a few nights together and fall in love (I think the tree was always watching the man who would often reminisce about his wife illness and life under its shadows) and the man is told that they only way to save his wife is to cut down that tree and use it as medicine, not knowing that the tree loves him nor that the tree is the boy he loves. The moment he cuts it down, the spirit shows up for the last time and quickly embraces the man before disappearing for good, leaving the man crushed after he realized what he has done.

A boy and a man meet each other on the street, the boy kind of helps/saves the man who almost gets hit by a car because he is crying, they end up talking and hooking up and the boy comforts him. He looks older than he is and lies about his age, so the man thinks the boy is in college, but the truth is that he is a mere highschooler. They have fun, but also some feelings develop which are put to a stop when the man gets a job at the boy's school as a professor and finds out his age. The boy seems to like the man a lot and wants to continue their relations and tries to win him over and when they finally end up embracing after some time and tearfully hug, another teacher walks in and catches them. The man gets fired, threatened never to see the boy again and he ends up working at a university where the boy decides to go to school when he is old enough. In the end, they reunite and rekindle their relationship after not seeing each other for a long time, both waiting for one another. Please, if you know what story this is, tell me!

It's been years and I ask around every few months, but with no luck! It is a oneshot, either a stand-alone, from a book full of oneshots, or a oneshot that came with a complete volume of another story, yaoi or shounen ai. A guy, who is from a village or a small town, comes to the big city the day before he is to be wed, and hits up a bar, where he hits it off with a guy drinking there. They talk and have a lovely time and end up having a one night stand, but the MC is still determined to go back to his home in the morning and get married. The other guy calls him out, tells him that he is being selfish and will only end up hurting his spouse and in an unhappy marriage by lying to her and himself about his sexuality, but I guess the first guy feels he has a duty to do so. When the bar guy wakes up in the hotel room they went to in the morning next day, he is alone and the MC left him a note apologizing. He thinks he will never see him again and reminisces about their time together. Some months after, they see each other again. The MC came back to be with him and tells him he sorted stuff out, he either broke it off with the girl right away and had to do some stuff back home, or got married and got divorced. Either way, he is free, honest with himself and others and ready to have a fresh start and be happy. The bar guy brushes him off, but it is implied or shown that he indeed gives him a chance and they end up together. It's been years since I read the story so maybe I remember some stuff wrongly, but I really liked this oneshot and how it was written and it left a good impact on me and I wish I could read it again and add it to my already read list so I never lose it again. If you know what this manga is, please help me!

It is yaoi or shounen ai about two friends, one of them is a bit shitty if i remember correctly, and the other is pining after him while the shitty guy gets with different girls. There is a short haired girl who the shitty guy sleeps with and a long haired girl in the mix, I can't remember much but everyone is pretty much pining after this player and he ended up proposing to one of the girls but I don't remember why, I wanna know how the story ends! Please help.

I recommend it to everyone, I just finished it after starting it 3 years ago and I really loved it so much. Such an underrated story. It stayed on one of the last pages of my reading list because it somehow fell behind and I am cleaning up my list by finishing all the completed mangas and this one was really pretty.

Apparently she's been retweeting things about Lezhin having unfair contract for their artists and such as. This might mean that Hate Mate will be put on an indefinite hold. :(

I was super surprised to hear that it got another sequel/spin off, because I didn't expect it, but I'm looking forward to possibly reading it one day.

Does anyone know this manga? A guy who is originally from the country, comes to some big town just before he is supposed to get married, to find out if he is really gay or not/try being with a guy. He still plans on getting married regardless, this is his last moment of "freedom" to him, so he wants to be honest with himself, no matter how unfair that is to the woman he is marrying. He picks up or is picked up by a guy who gets pissed at him for being insincere to both himself and his fiancé by doing this and treats him harshly at first, but they still end up sleeping together. The next morning when the guy from the bar wakes up, MC goes back to his village. The bar guy thinks he probably got married to the woman he was engaged to, and thinks of him once in a while, until one day, after some months, the country guy comes back to tell him he didn't get married and just went back to sort things out. I think it's a oneshot, but not a stand-alone one, it is in another manga book either of other oneshots, or there is a main story and this oneshot just comes with it. PLEASE HELP ME

I've encountered a list called "Normal Couple (Man x Woman)" and... dearie who made the list, whoever you are, M/M, F/F, etc are also "normal" couples. Watch your wording choice. This is the 21st century. It's time to stop referring to all things straight as "normal" and realize that consenting adult couples are normal couples, no matter their sex and gender.
