I knew something was off, I felt he forgave him too easy for such a significant thing, but I let myself be a little happy for them for a moment (although deep down I knew it wasn't healthy) because I could feel those two love each other, but oh boy. It's going down. And it feels like it's going to be bad. Once he gets caught up in revenge.... I don't know how this'll end without everyone being extremely hurt. He should've cut all contact with him and punish him in that way imho, never let the guy in his life once again, it would've make him suffer. What's going to happen? I'm so worried.

This is a Korean manga, and some of you seem ignorant on the Korean age system, so let me fix that. If Heesung is 20 in Korea, he's either 18 or 19 internationally. They count their age differently than the rest of the world. In Korea, when you're born, you're already 1, that's how they see it. And depending on the time of the year you were born at, you could be still a baby and already be considered two years old. So, telling a literal baby adult, almost a child (because you don't magically become an adult in your mind and behavior and you don't mature by turning 18..... it's a process), to stop acting like a spoiled child is ridiculous. If you've been reading this story with understanding, you would've known that he has never been spoiled for a moment in his life and he has had it tough, so it's no wonder he's enjoying it. Not to mention, the main guy you all love so much forced himself on him and then forced him to keep the baby, so like....................... I get that besides that, he seems more likable as a character, and that his love for the baby is endearing, but really? Everything wrong he did up until now is suddenly okay because he's happy he's going to be a daddy? C'mon...

You can't compare these situations because Ryan has known and cherished Cristoph for years and he only recently met Kyon and had no reason really to protect him or trust him whatsoever, especially while thinking he was going to hurt his loved ones. Now he knows Cristoph was the one who did all that, but he also knows that it wasn't something he wanted to do and was forced to do it against his own will, and of course, since he loves him, he won't react the same way. Kyon and Ryan are basically strangers to one another, meanwhile, Cristoph was like family to him, it isn't the same. I'm still angry at Ryan for reacting the way he did with Kyon, don't get me wrong, but the situations are vastly different.

What a sad story, now I'm really sad. So he was........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................the spirit of the tree that Martin had to cut in order to save his life, but he fell in love with the man and wanted to have one night with him before his death knowing that he'll disappear once Martin cuts him down? So sad...and Martin's face when he found out what he had done is heartbreaking.

I'm so confused as to what is going on now, but I really love this story and the art is stunning! Still, what direction is this taking? Thank you translator and uploader so much!

A short recap on the characters, as I understood the story:
I have a feeling that the "uncle" is either secretly trying to achieve some agenda of his own, or he actually wants to save the twins and is just playing at being loyal to the king. I suspect it's the former. He is far too obsessed with the late mother, he even sees her in her children and in a creepy way too. It might also explain why he pretends to be the prophet, to protect the kids. He also seems to have that archer Ling as his loyal dog, and his actions are dubious at best. And as you know, a loyal dog reflects his master.
The king seems to be straightforward: he believes that the twins' eyes can cure the plauge, and since he doesn't give two shits about them, is ready to sacrifice them (losing their power, which is stored in their eyes means death to them). He also apparently doesn't particularly care about his late wife - might explain his distaste for the kids.
The pink haired woman also doesn't seem to have a hidden agenda. She followed the kings orders in the beginning, then took a pity on the kids and now wants to find a different cure for the disease. The only mystery about her is the tragic past of her sister who seems to have died in a fire.
I believe the MC is only helping the twins because he was always interested in what is on the other side of the cave and then later he fell for the younger twin. Nothing much to write about him, except that he is apparently terminally ill and was supposed to die before the age of 11.
The blond guy is just a convenient plot armour/comic relief/obligatory friend as till now. Same for the glasses guy, though I suspect his disappeared friend will be important for the plot later.
Nothing much about the twins either. Before they ran away, they seem to have lived a pretty eventless life. They are the real prophets.
At this point the story is pretty predictable: the king is the villain and by spreading the medicine and curing the disease the twins will be saved. Many hardships and romance along the way, yada yada. The only question is whether the uncle has a hidden agenda and if yes, what is it. Everything else probs has no big impact on the plot; well, maybe the MCs disease.
I feel like this story is my own hidden treasure because not a lot of people seem to know about it yet, which is a shame because it's so good, the translation must've taken a long time to do and I'm so thankful to whoever did it, and everything else as well, cleaning and typsetting and all those things too, it's such a hard job, but you all did so well. Once you get used to the pace, you understand each chapter well.
