Ok, so for anyone waiting for a happy, satisfying end for Qiyu and Liqing can stop reading now. I read the novel with them and it’s basically bad end. Liqing eventually goes back but doesn’t marry Qiyu again. Qiyu has some “almost” crematorium moments but it’s not enough and he doesn’t deserve to lick Liqing’s feet. Also the fact that Shen Yu doesn’t show up to beat the crap out his son pissed me off for the ENTIRE novel! If you’re not going to have him in this novel for more than a half second, then just kill him off! I just CANNOT imagine he’d sit back and watch his son treat someone like he was treated by Qiyu’s father! Ahhhh! That pissed me off the entire time I read this. This novel featuring the son is a true waste of time. Don’t bother.

Remember waaaay back in the first few chapters where Hen was crushing hard on Alek, -who secretly liked Hen- and hated Ivan -who was a MASSIVE dick to Hen at every chance-?
No? Well, that's where all this started.
So before you cry about threesomes or how it's so horrible that Alek might end up with Hen, remember... ALEK IS WHO HEN ORIGINALLY WANTED before Ivan took advantage of the snake imprint to screw Hen every time the mark made him go nuts. Hen wouldn't have even looked twice at Ivan as a romantic partner if not for that mark. I'm surprised that people forget what an ass Ivan was to Hen. Alek's life has been so cold and hard, why can't he have a little warmth in Hen? Especially when Hen really wanted to give it to him.

If anything, I'm mad at Alek for not confessing (and leaving Hen in bed alone with Ivan) at the beginning although I know it's his emotional issues which are to blame for his reticence.

Alek knew Ivan had a crush on Hen from the beginning, Ivan was already inlove with him when they were quarreling, he is the type to bully the one he loves (I don't approve but yeah)
And that was the reason Alek lured Hen and marked him, then called Ivan to the room and they had a 3p. He leaves before the others wake up so Ivan will think he marked Hen.
And then he waited and watched over them. He knew Ivan being with Hen was bad for Hen's health, but he didn't care. His plan was to give Ivan a taste of happiness and then take it away from him and he did. Hen was so bad that Ivan had no choice but let Alek sleep with Hen.
He manipulated, lied and put the live of Hen in risk just to make Ivan suffer.

Well, I haven't read them so I can only base my ideas on what I've already read and even without Alek's plans- which are pretty shitty if that's what happened- the point still stands that Hen liked Alek, Ivan knew Hen didn't like him and he used the chance he was given to get sex from someone not entirely willing.

I think you got the timelines mixed. Hen only became attracted to Alek after the mark, because of the mark. Before that he didn't have any feelings for Alek, if anything he felt intimidated by him.
Ivan sleeping with Hen is because his body needing the pheromones, but yeah I agree he had ulterior motives, he liked Hen after all. Hen was not entirely willing, but he did consent, different from the case with Alek, but I won't say more because you haven't read yet :X
