not defending his actions but i think he’s just trying to make up it up to the MC for all his past “mistakes” and is trying to be a good father/partner (even tho he’s a criminal basically)

Literally, I feel like no one can understand remorse at this point.......
Okay? He was the villain and now he is being the hero. The same way you are dragging him for being a villain, please don’t forget to drag him for being a hero as well. Thank you.

I didnt mean it a full hate way its just an aspect of the story that i wish was tweaked a little,, we all know how the ending was rushed so i feel like if that had fleshed that part more then his heroic actions would feel more genuine for me! Nooo hate btwww

My answer is very long, so feel free to ignore it.
As much as I understand where you’re coming from, I believe you are missing the big picture here. You said the ending was rushed but I don’t think it was. What we are reading right now are the extras and the manhwa clearly gave us a resolved ending. You keep bringing up Taeju’s past but you seem to be forgetting that you cannot possibly love Euihyun more than Taeju does and what you are doing is definitely NOT in his best interest.
Taeju knows he messed up. He admitted just as much right from the day he thought Euihyun was going to drown himself and he ended up having a panic attack. When Euihyun got pregnant and lost the first baby, he still blamed himself for his past, gave him his house, all of his money and everything he owned and removed himself from his life because he felt Euihyun was better off without him. How did it end? I am sure you already know. How many Omegaverse manhwas have you read where the Alpha is making as much effort to make up for the things he did before or even admit to himself and his victim that he did wrong by them? You are looking down on the author by dredging up things like that because I believe they did very well with the way they presented this story to us, the readers.
We are looking at a man who has on more than one occasion admitted that he was in the wrong and has resolved to spend the rest of his life making up for it and still is. So my question is, what more do you want from him? If you want him to leave Euihyun’s life, he has already done that and it only made Euihyun feel worse. The only other option left is to kill him. Ask yourself, if he dies, what do you think would happen to Euihyun? He has the house, money and all assets but do you think he would be happier? I don’t think so, but do you?
What he is doing to Euihyun’s father and that other bastard is in Euihyun’s own best interest and he never claimed to be a hero, which is why he kept it a secret from Euihyun. Mind you, he did all of those things at the same time when he ran away from home. He did all those things as his own way of making sure that he gets rid of all future problems for Euihyun, including removing himself from Euihyun’s life. Euihyun himself told Taeju’s cousin that if they didn’t take care of those two and they come back to bother him, his baby or his brother in the future, they shouldn’t call themselves gangsters anymore because he would take care of them himself. So in essence, what Taeju was not to make himself look like a hero but to protect Euihyun.
Whatever you are thinking, it seems like you are still stuck in the past and have refused to move on even after Euihyun himself already has. No one can excuse what Taeju did in the past, but that is NOT the only thing he did.
We can never erase what Taeju did, but we cannot, in good conscience, use that as the only defining factor about him. That’s just not right. You remember that even was he was putting Euihyun through all of that stress, it was also the only time he and his baby brother ever had enough to eat. It was the only time they ever had a peaceful sleep. He was terrible to him but he still gave him a stable job with good working hours and good pay. He put a roof over his head and fed him. That is the reason why Euihyun, despite hating him, didn’t resent him for too long. Taeju did not have to go that far for Euihyun just because he wanted to rape him, but he did. He might have been teeeible to him but he was also the one who cared about his well-being. If Taeju hadn’t gotten into their lives, debt not, how do you think their lives would have ended? Euihyun would have still been working himself to the bone to take care of his brother and being an Omega, he might have met a terrible end. His father would have definitely come back to bother them when he ran out of money again.
His Alpha neighbor that actually liked and respected him, do you think they would have ever crossed paths if Taeju hadn’t put him up in that house and given him a job that was stable enough for him to catch a break? But still, Euihyun chose Taeju over him.
So before you start complaining, ask yourself, if Euihyun were to read your comment about his husband and the father of his child, would he happy with you? The answer is No. So let it go. Everything cannot always be black and white. There are always grey areas to look at. What matters now is that Euihyun and his brother are very happy.

No i think u have a great take and answer and i even agree w you for the most part,, i really enjoy LTIT because how non black and white it is and my comment i made was genuinely in such a non serious way so dont think im hating the characters or anything. I just think we have a difference in opinion over the ending thats absolutely okay!
This is such an unpopular opinion but this has gone to shitttt in the begining it was so good i really liked it the vibe now im just like wheres this going
I find it soooo cringey that taeju is tryna act like hero and saviour like pls u raped ur hubby
