Dont come at me but I have the feeling that Shin doesn't think that highly of Wolfgang. Doesn't trust him. Because how come you're making plans to protect the king and dont share them with the person himself. Is that hard just to work toghether as a team? Then why did he make him king in the first place?? I don't know, I just get the feeling that Shin sees Wolfgang as a chess piece a little too much.
Then if wolfgang cant keep his cool as you say, why make him king? But lets not forget that Wolfgang did lead a revolt to overthrow the previous king AND succeded. They succeded, Shin and wolf working together. I'm just saying, Shin is the king's maker, and he's not making any king by keeping Wolf in the dark, or dismissing his proposals and decisions (the glases, yes that was important, the personal guard...). Shin is quite elitist... he doesn't get the common people like wolf does. He's too orthodox at times. That's why they need to work toghether. Anyways, some things of the plot is making me mmmm :/
Also it looks like Shin is doing the dirty work that's underhanded and subterfuge. So that Wolf can keep his hands clean and keep his public persona heroic/wholesome. Besides he doesn't know the size of the enemie constituents. I believe he's doing this to take some of the burden off of Wolf. So he can concentrate on affairs of state and the needs of the people. I mean the stress and worry Shin is taking on, is a big burden off of Wolf's shoulders. Wolf can get along with others and be carefree. Whereas I feel that Shin, because of the last King, lost so much. That he doesn't know how to show and receive love or compassion. I also feel that he has a stigma from the old King from being his favorite of the "children". Shin doesn't have the true respect of the public because of that. I'm happy that he finally has the respect of the royals and nobles, and those that work in the castle.
I'm enjoying this arch. I wanna see how Mayufu and Ueno grow from it. But most of all I'm looking forward to when they all can leave Yuki behind. I know Mayufu and the others loved him but he is gone. I wanna see more of his relationship with Ueno, just the two of them. Anyways, I hope we see soon Mayufu's reaction to this song, hope it's goes well.
Wolfgang is already suspicious of read head. And not because "hE's jeAloUs". He's looking at things calmly. He isn't even worried sick about Shin because he knows Shin is scheming something. The author shows us this. So, again, why is he not included? Why Shin has to go solo? There's no valid reason as to why the are not working in this together. I'm even beginning to think some people here like to think of Wolfgang as dumb just to make Shin the smart one. Show my baby wolf some respect. But anyways the plot doesn't make sense to me. It's kind of disappointing. Shin is the king's maker but he's just playing stupid games now sorry not sorry u.u
Lol i'm not even hung up about the lack of romance, but at least keep the plot coherent and show us some character development that involves some kind of camaraderie and respect between them....??? Just saying
Two bros chilling in the kingdom dragging the traitors together but five feet apart cause they're not gay lol
I mean, Wolf probably trusts Shin after all they went through together that he knows what he's doing. After years of planning together, there has to be at least a bit of mutual trust between them. Mutual trust gotta be there somewhere ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Totally agree. I protect Shin feelings for Wolf, but you don’t even imagine how stupid and useless his plan turn out to be(as well because he didn’t include Wolf), though everything end up good, still.
I feel the authors did a good job of setting up the context of Shin disliking Wolfgangs hands on approach when it comes to his safety and well being. They even show Shin feeling like he is Wolfgangs singularly flaw and weakness.
It’s pretty clear they are setting the story up for Shin to make a major self sacrificing move to protect Wolfgang. He knows Wolfgang would never allow this or intervene before Shin can get to the root of the organization, so for now he is keeping the emperor at arms length.
Shin 100% knows the duke is suspicious. He noted his red hair and scaled forearms in the tower, as well as the suspicious means for which he was there. It’s a long con, we just gotta trust our boy.
And if the authors made the scheme more direct with Shin including the king in everything, the story would be boring and too direct. Ijs.
Yeah Wolf trust Shin, but Shin doesn't trust Wolf if he keeps him in the dark. That's what bothers me.
I saw the raws, that's why I say he's playing stupid games. Playing the martyr is stupid. Also, it's how the season ends, SPOILER: apparently just after wolf rescue him, Shin tells him he (wolf) needs a wife. Like the dude went through torture for him and now wants him to get married to someone else. Yeah, great move. Again I'm not fan of the martyr thing Shin has going on.
I think neither you or me can know how the story would be if other choices were made. I can talk about the plot we have now. And whether if it's boring or not depends on the person. Me personally i find the martyr thing Shin has going on to be boring and incoherent. It would have been possible for Shin to plot together with Wolf and still make a self sacrificing move at the end if it's necessary, I would have liked that more.
I read the raws a while back know shin said something baffling to Wolf (I didn’t know what cause I don’t know Korean) but that makes sense. And it must hurt wolf because the entire reason he even became king was to free and court Shin. I hope he doesn’t marry anyone else
Spoiler: from what I read in the comments here a while back, Shin tells him he (wolf) needs to get married. To a woman. So another reason why I'm no liking Shin very much at this moment..........
The kingdom needs an heir.
Yeah, but does it have to be blood? Tyranny ran in the their family maybe it would be better if it separated. Also can Wolf even get it up for anyone thats not Shin, cause I doubt
You forget that the royal family is bless with the dragon's powers. The ones born with gold hair and gold eyes.
Didn't think of it that way. That's true, I can't deny that fact.
Lololol kicking ass and saying no homo tho.
Yeah, I read raws too. Sorry, but I think it’s a Wolf fault. It’s the price you pay if sleep with person and don’t confess to him or clarify relationship while being in position of power. If Wolf won’t explain his feelings after that, get mad to point he won’t speak or agree to it, I’m done with this.
I think it’s Wolf’s fault for being reckless and taking too many chances with his own well being. Shin is also over protective though.
Wowww... the only ly reason he's doing this is for shin, because he likes shin...and shin knows this for a fact... and still chooses to go around with the red sleeze ball.....it's not Wolfgang fault....they need to man tf up and communicate together.
