Just read this whole BL in one sitting in the middle of the night and what a ride that was This BL is quite the interesting read bc while the top and bottom both feel very tropey (Jihun is literally just your standard cold, possessive brooding top while Jueon is your cry baby damsel in distress bottom), but the author plays with those stereotypes in a really intriguing way. It was quite fascinating how Jihun managed to gaslight and manipulate Jueon into becoming so obsessed and dependent on him, because while he loves him more than anyone else he needs that obsession to be reciprocated and also low key wants to punish Jueon for the pain he caused him when he abandoned them as kids so he inflicts the same pain back onto him as another form of discipline in a way. As a result, Jueon's obsession spirals out of control in ways that even Jihun couldn't predict and it isn't pretty either, so he really fucked around and found out in that regard lmaooo.
This is toxic codependent yaoi at its finest and I'm so seated for this
