It's so boring... It's almost entirely traveling, lazing around, not doing anything. It's like the manga turned into slice of life. Also where the hell did our MC's personality go? She was so dilligent (by necessity but still) and proactive. Exploring the dungeon and after that the world. Even helping humans to the point she came to be known as some kind of protector to a town.
But now? She's a lazy bum who just wants to sleep, read, and eat. She also complains about being weak but does almost nothing to try and learn about her godlike powers.
Try checking Shiraori's thoughts in chapter 71.2. She stated that she's been used to making threads that there is nothing much to observe anymore, because her threads are the only thing she can use with her godlike powers- currently. Also, before she was very dilligent ofcourse because there is many skills she can learn and needs to learn. Then, after the ascension, she can't use the system anymore which is like the database for all her skills and stats. My point is that the system helps her learn skills and train them. Now as a God without the system, she can't learn and level up those skills anymore. Based on the current flow of her life, she is trying to regain her skills but have no clue to do so because there is no system to help her anymore.
PS: This is just my personal statement and my current understanding of what is happening based on the manga. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
So, it's not revealed the tower master never stood a chance against Jaehwan.
Tower master: A weak coward who relies on his safety net to run back to the past as many times as he wants to get a redo, and a weapon that was thought to be an instant kill after a single cut.
Jaewhan: An incredibly strong willed human relying purely on his own strength and skill, and at times the people who choose to help him. He never got a redo for anything. He had no safety net. He just kept moving forward and kept winning. Every single time.
At least by manwha logic, the tower master was cooked from the beginning.
Dammit...now that I've seen him disguise himself as a woman I wish the character was female in the first place. There are so many "overpowered cool guy owning everyone" manwhas incredibly similar to this one. Yet I haven't found a single one with a female protagonist yet. And he looks so cool and elegant as a woman! =/
There is “ https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/i_stole_the_number_one_ranker_s_soul/ “ you can read on Webtoon app which is free, “I stole the first ranker’s soul” is the title on the webtoon
Sure the MC has the plot armor of "luck" and slightly impossible "foresight". And since he knows the "game" inside-out he can make the perfect builds and find the perfect places to go to next and strategies to use. But he's not overpowered like so many other isekai MCs that go way beyond the realm of common sense in that world.
He strategizes based on team composition, makes good gear and build decisions, and still quite often has one hell of a though fight. So much better than "oh yea I'm just so overpowered it's obvious I'll win anyway."
I really tried giving this manga a go for a long time. And usually I'm not even that bothered by ecchi or even sexual stuff, but this is just...stupid. Why the hell does skill structure basically have to be sex without sex? It's so clearly just for the lewdness...
And I could even look past that...if the rest of the manga wasn't so boring to read. =/
So many of these isekai manga start off with at least a semi-interesting premise that could hold potential, but then devolve into almost slice of life, the harem constantly going "I want the master's/hero's babies"/"the master/hero is so cool", and a bit of action in between just so you don't forget that they're technically in a fantasy world with monsters...
Low effort slop where the mangaka either sucks at story telling or just can't be bothered to...
Why do so many of these fantasy stories do this? Whenever there's some "high tech" needed in a world with magic, what do the authors go for? That's right...stuff from our modern era...
Just like the ship in chapter 39 now. Supposedly an anti-calamity magic warship. But it just looks like a modern day (or fairly modern at least) warship, only with modern cannons replaced with "magic laser cannons".
No creativity or anything. Just pure laziness. It's a world full of magic where physics have little meaning, why would such a world ever develop exactly the same as our non-magical, physics bound world?
I just hate that when a story is supposed to be medieval/fantasy, authors like this go and put modern day things in the world.
Cellphones, TVs, cars/vans, guns, modern day fabrics with modern day designs, buildings with perfectly transparent smooth glass, heated baths and showers, soft mattresses, etc.
If you're going to make this "medieval fantasy" world like modern day with magic replacing modern day science 1 to 1, with the only difference being mage staves, swords and armor, why even make it medieval fantasy?
I don't like that Yoon Euhnye is basically the same person as Erzebet and the moon goddess, and that Yeon Ah is bascially a demigod because of it. The only difference between her and the goddess is that she walked a different path. I liked it more when I still thought she was a human, whom happened to give birth to the most powerful human mage in history.
But I guess it does explain why both her and Yeon Ah are special.
