in the novel, the artisan dude has a skill where he can tell if an item he has made is in a players inventory. this time, its not the tickets but a weapon that the mc has. the kicker is that the weapon wasnt made by this artisan but by an alternate version of the artisan. its some rift magic-alternate timeline stuff happening. theres some confusing bits in the novel cause the translation isnt perfect where i read it but the webcomic def makes a lot of the confusing scenes make more sense
