I hope Miria rages and takes out some of those “babysitters” OR they come up with a plan to take back Morí in style. Like bust into the place with an explosion and sunglasses, while slow walking to get Mori out of that hell. THE POOR BABYYYYYY

Mori-stands! Rise up! We ride at dawn!

***DISCLAIMER!! I am not %100 sure about the entire situation. This is all that I’ve seen and speculated from. Feel free to comment any corrections for future readers.

Okay to sum up what I think is happening from what I’ve read in comments, on Twitter, and on the blog post:

Eunhi (the author of Childhood Friend Complex) is suing Tirano (the author of All About Lust) for allegedly having plagiarized certain panels and the story/scene-pacing of the said panels. I don’t exactly know if this is true, but apparently one of Eunhi’s friends/helpers pointed out some similarities between her work and that of Tirano’s but instead of thinking of it as coincidence or inspiration, she decided to take legal action against Tirano and is possibly suing them for plagiarism. (<— again, I am not quite sure if this part is fact yet or I’m just a part of the grapevine and possibly misconstruing fiction as fact.) I did take a look at what was posted, and I’m not choosing a side on this issue, but I can see why some people believe she didn’t plagiarize as well as why some people believe she did.

I think what the main problem people are talking about is why she decided to sue, instead of take it as coincidence for why both stories seem similar. The main and only piece of story that I know of that people are pointing out and making comparisons between is CFC’s Chapter 11 and cover-art and AAL’s corresponding scene and cover-art.

That’s all I know about the issue. I have read AAL, and I have read CFC and I like the art and plot of both stories. I hope the issue gets sorted out and that both authors come to an agreement without too much backlash from each other’s fans.

After watching the author get dog piled and review bombed I just wanna say this If you actually read the chapter (chapter 11) where the cherry picked the out of context panels for comparison they're nothing alike.....if you were to read both chapters and write a detailed description of what's going on in each scene you would not have the same descriptions and outcomes I guarantee tht .........u can cherry pick scenes from and other manhwa n find some similarities it's a heavy reach the story. Overall Plot, character personalities, development etc are nothing alike and the covers have no similarities outside of some of them having similar monocolor schemes?? Again If u had to give a detailed description of them you would NOT come out with the same descriptions......also You can't own a color scheme and even then they don't use the same colors....the composition, posing, etc are all so jarringly different... the entire thing is a REACH and it's baffling how no one has taken the time to examine these half assed accusations and "proof" with a critical lens...like they look nothing alike ?? ppl are so quick to jump on the bandwagon and majority of them haven't even read CFC n they're just review bombing it and calling it a stupid hetero romance as an insult ?? Mob mentality really is dangerous n it's gotten to the point where I actually feel bad for eunhi.. these are serious accusations tht can ruin this person's livelihood and career so I completely understand why she would have block tirano and threaten malicious commenters with a lawsuit..... I just look at these comments here n on twitter n webtoon?? It's a clown show ?? Half of the people commenting have never even heard of CFC but are quick to join in.....
The biggest piece of "proof" they have are the chapter covers and again they all look nothing alike if you were to sit down and describe each image separately after looking at them with no context you would not come out with the same descriptions...again outside of some of the arts having monocolor themes I'm not seeing the similarities. One of the covers one lead from each series is wearing a hoodie and Thts about where the similarities start n end, they have different poses, color schemes, And different hoodies n yet it was enough for ppl to say it's plagiarism. It's getting out of hand. It feels as though ppl just saw a picsart chart comparison and automatically let their brains be tricked into seeing similarities tht either aren't there or r minuscule.
I've seen the panels n other so called proof I've seen them all ! Again they look nothing alike from composition to angles, poses, etc... there r several examples in the cherry picked panels tht dont even line up to any degree so much so they're showcasing two completely different actions! Like just read the actual chapters...

Plagiarism is a serious accusation similarities are now grounds to spread tht malicious accusation.... ?? Those isekai villainess manhwas and novels also share the same premise, story beats, themes, and back stories...should we all start calling those manhwa n novel authors plagiarists now too??
Using Tirano's blog talking about how she FEELS like there's plagiarism isn't proof in itself ? Someone can feel wrong n THINK their ideas were used etc but tht doesn't mean it's factually true.... Tirano didn't even provide actual proof or examples of wht she herself believed to be copied from her...all of this is speculation....yall took eunhi (allegedly) denying or not apologizing to tirano for the accusations as proof of her guilt rather than proof of her innocence... if someone accused you of something this nasty would u apologize even though u know you didn't do it ? Would u not want to block them from then on ?

I should also mention again Tirano never ever mentioned who she's was accusing by name! A Korean twitter user took it upon themselves to do some "detective work" n found a series on webtoon with a similar premise and Thts how this all came to be. So all in all eunhi might not even be the person Tirano is accusing..tirano sed in her statement the person she accused unfollowed and blocked her but eunhi still follows tirano on twitter....but it's too late even if it's not eunhi....

Edit: I've already explained tht the plots r different, the pacing, the direction, etc and how the panels n covers have different compositions, angles, poses, contents etc but can we talk about how this discussion is so lacking in common sense n even nuance? I don't think u guys understand why plagiarism is at this point....we are setting a dangerous precedent for manhwa authors n their works...smut manhwa often and almost always feature the same exact sex positions with the same angles n more. Even the deepening tongue kiss close up has become a staple in smut manhwa are we now going to start calling those author plagiarists?? Or how about the villianess n transmigration genre ?? Almost all of those stories either becoming a child, having daddy issues/family issues, a fl dying in the modern world n being transported into a novel or game etc etc . Those stories have followed a certain formula and often have the same story beats, themes, contents, and pacing y not start calling those authors plagiarists too ?? Those the artstyles for cfc r n aal r very different ppl r now still accusing cfc author of plagiarism in tht regard too but wht about 0lkyou (shutline) their still looks so much like JAXX...should they be called a plagiarist too? Or how about eej and baek sang eon's new work "gale of God" their styles r super similar now too...r u gonna call Baek a plagiarist??
Again pls be mindful of wht plagiarism really is and how this will go one to impact future works and authors.

I was confused for a second, and thought Jooha wasn’t ever going to get his memories back, BUT NOW I KNOW he does get them back lol wewhhheeeewwww huge sigh of relief.

I don’t think my brain was braining while I was reading this latest chapter (78). Like I read the words, but didn’t comprehend them lol (probably because I couldn’t translate the script’s dialogue he was reading from into easy-brain words??) Can someone please baby-it-down for me so that my mental can understand what exactly the script was saying. I feel like I missed something very important because I couldn’t quite capture the reason as to why he was crying, but like I want to cry with him. PLEASE HELP AND EXPLAIN

    Shtalp January 30, 2024 6:28 am

It's existential. He's comparing his life to those around him, and he's thinking about what it's all for and what it even means to be alive. Purpose, desire, love. And I think he's also still thinking about director yoon in some ways. Well that's how I interpret it, anyway.

    gizmo January 30, 2024 6:46 am

it ties into what jay told him in the beginning of the chapter--its basically him coming to terms with the fact that he still wants to keep living and experience joy (which he denied himself because he blamed himself for the death of his brother and mother). its a big turning point for him and its the first time hes allowed himself to cry in years

I can’t wait for when our seme reveals that he’s been talking with Lrot as three different people

Stealer97#2 November 29, 2023 6:02 pm

Somebody PLEAAAAASE CORRECT ME if I’m wrong cause I’m just as confused as some of y’all are, BUT I’m pretty sure our seme is Black (the black hooded internet figure on the server that Lrot logs into on certain days) as well as VX (the guy who Lrot worked under). Ssssoooo basically our seme is interacting with Lrot(uke) with THREE WHOLE DIFFERENT IDENTITIES *surprised Pikachu face*

Our seme’s identities are Potential Boyfriend, Black, and VX.

So what I’m understanding is that Lrot was trying to hack and destroy the corrupt company C waaaaayyy back when he was still working with VX and the group. However, while Lrot was trying to get information in Company C, he got his information from an unknown broker. This unknown broker gave Lrot information on Company C, BUT the broker also gave Company C information on Lrot. In turn, while Lrot was trying to get rid of Company C, Company C was also trying to get rid of Lrot with the fire incident. The fire incident forced Lrot to go undercover and hide because he was in a dangerous position. That’s why Lrot left the group and VX along with it. Lrot was going into hiding. Flash to present, Lrot is working on his IP Address/location erasing program to protect VX as well as find the broker who backstabbed him. VX, our seme, finds out Lrot’s identity and wants to know why he left the group. However, he can’t approach Lrot in person and make Lrot admit that he is indeed LROT. Sssoooooo VX goes online and meets Lrot as “Black” (the hooded black figure on the web). This is so that VX can ask Lrot questions without making himself known as VX. Cause we all know Lrot would run away again if he knew he was talking with VX. SO! VX asks why Lrot left using his other persona: “Black.” As time goes on VX learns more about the real reason as to why Lrot left: It was because of the backstabbing broker who Lrot talked to when he was dealing with corrupt Company C. All this to say, VX is trying to work with Lrot as the internet persona Black, to get revenge on the information broker and get Lrot to return back to the team. And the bonus would be having Lrot become his boyfriend as well

Hoped this helped clear some confusion. Comment with more information if you can explain more

    salvx November 30, 2023 1:08 am

    So, for clarification:

First off Company C or whatever is not important, like at all, what’s important is the broker, B. It could have been any one of his usual targets, the one in Hong Kong just happened to be the most convenient because their systems are closed, which forced Lrot to actually have to go in person rather than just working from some other place.

Second, Lrot didn’t leave the group because he was in a dangerous position or anything. He’s absolutely capable of making a new identity for himself and just getting away from those hired thugs means he wins. This will be elaborated upon later in the story (and actually they did cover it a little in earlier chapters) but the reason Lrot left ZETA was because he didn’t allow himself the possibility of not doing well. Even though he technically completed that last job from B, that everything that happened after was a sign of complete failure in his eyes. He let his guard down and fucking got tricked by a guy who’s nowhere near as good as him. How could he have the face to stand next to VX?

Which brings me to the third point: he totally DID NOT leave to “protect” VX, he left because because he was ashamed he let things happen like that and terrified of the possibility that VX might be ashamed of him. That’s also why he makes SN3AK3RS (idk why they used a different name from the novel), because essentially he’s a little bit of a coward and is scared of actually talking to VX after what happened.

And from here is a bit of a spoiler, but Seo Yiyeon/VX has been searching for Lrot since basically the second he disappeared (well, a little bit after that but since they were only separated a year I’d say he moped around for at max a month). Going in person was because he was desperate, staying around was because he had a hunch that later turned out to be correct. His end goal was always to get as close to Lrot as possible (make no mistake btw he was first to realize his feelings while they were apart). However, getting to know Jin Kang in person was 1000% Not Enough, they’re crackers after all! Talking with Jin Kang as Seo Yiyeon is nice and all but they had a deeper connection as Lrot and VX. He desperately wants to talk to Lrot, but if he does so as VX, then Lrot will just run away again. So that’s where Black comes in: as a way to one, sound out info (most important being why did you leave me do you hate me) and two, to just. get back that feeling of talking with Lrot the cracker

Stealer97#2 November 29, 2023 9:26 am

Y’all, all I’m saying is I just hope the bad guys get defeated and Yuji and Megumi end up on top. Alive and together. I have given up on getting attached to any character because I see them dead 10 chapters later. MY HEART CAN’T TAKE ALL THIS

Gojo death review:
Bro I can’t with the plot right now At the beginning of Gojo’s death-reveal chapter, where it starts off with a flashback-esque scene of him and Nanami and everyone who has basically died at this point (which I could really believe will literally be everyone very soon), as I clicked through the pages, I could already feel something was up. I waited literall minutes, actually debating whether to just turn off my phone and stop reading then and there because I just couldn’t with the story if Gojo died. But then it showed his sausaged body and I almost lost all hope in the plot. LIKE WHERE DO YOU GO FROM THERE??!!!??!!! The entire Shibuya arc was for everyone to survive and save whoever they could, until the Trump Card GOJO SATORU was finally released!!!! BUT NOW HE’S DEAD????!!!! He was literally the strongest soceror…… who’s gonna beat all the bad guys now????

I do have a prediction tho I predict that Yuji and is going to confront Sukuna and somehow Megumi is gonna come back and then they’ll get Kenjaku’s *ss. I don’t really believe in the main-character-gets-new-overpowered-strength-because-of-losing-friend in Yuji in the future of this specific manga because JJK seems to take a more pragmatic approach in its world-building sssoooooo I have no clue how my prediction will happen.

TBH I also predict Kenjaku is gonna possess someone else. Like the last page of this chapter literally sets up the next release to either have Yuuta get taken over or my mans the comedian.

But in all seriousness, can I just say how much admiration I have for Lee Geom. The Manwha was correct in its phrasing that “suffering isn’t a reason for pity. It’s a reason for respect. Respect for their strength to endure it, and as a result, the admiration for [that] person is only growing stronger.”(chapter 32) In other words, suffering isn’t a reason to pity someone. It is a reason to respect them. And due to that respect, your/our admiration of that suffering person only grows bigger as their strength in enduring and enduring and enduring whatever is it is they’re going through is finally being recognized, and seen for what it’s worth.

With respect to Lee Geom, he’s been suffering for a long, long time. 8 years and counting (not even including the attempted rape of his stepfather), however, through this suffering and endurance of whatever life had kept throwing his way: rape, violence, humiliation, etc., Lee kept going. He kept suffering and enduring, and that strength in it of itself is something to respect and admire. He’s been through literal hell, and is still traversing through its firey flames. His strength to endure and make something out of the situation he was forced into is something I respect and admire about Lee. All his hard work, all his physical abuse, all his emotional abuse, all his humiliation and mental abuse, all his silent suffering and enduring, and all his meticulous preparation, is finally coming to fruition. It’s feels so satisfying to see all his suffering somewhat relieved with all this revenge that is about to be laid out. I don’t think there will ever be a revenge great enough to satisfy all the experiences he’s been forcibly put through, but
seeing his plan go through successfully (for now *fingers crossed*) and result in some type of revenge, feels veeeeerrry satisfying. And my admiration for Lee only continues to grow. I hope no one in this world has to go through this, but with the way the world is now and possibly even back then, I can’t say for sure that no one is experiencing this level of pain, anguish, and suffering. I wish y’all the best of reading and a good day.

Stealer97#2 September 25, 2023 8:13 pm

Don’t view if you don’t like spoilers

Just caught up with the raws and from the looks of it. Lee gets hella revenge on the guy who’s been imprisoning him in the bedroom with the chastity stuff. Basically Lee gets enough proof and escapes the room, then reveals to the entire public all the footage of what was done to him and who it was done by. Then because of all the exposing, a different group of people (I’m going to assume loan shark people?? Or people hired as hitmen??) capture Lee and beat him up and lastly stab him, until he’s assumed to be dead. And that’s where the last chapter of the raws stopped.

DISCLAIMER!! I know zero Korean and all of this spoiler was based on my speculation and interpretation of the panels the author drew. I cannot confirm nor deny whether Lee is dead, since the manwha doesn’t indicate any official proof that he did die (I.e. burial, heart monitor scene) BUT he was definitely beaten up hella bad and stabbed once, for the symbolic notion for us readers to think that Lee is now dead (He was not raped here, thankfully, but I don’t know if this one act of no rape gave him justice with everything he’s been through). I’m still holding out hope that the author let’s Lee live and that we’re just supposed to THINK that he’s dead. BUT you might be better off assuming the worst. However, I can say that I’m 99% sure that Lee DOES get revenge on the guy who’s been raping him for these past chapters in the bedroom.

    Stealer97#2 September 26, 2023 5:48 am

I have a follow up on this post about my speculation now that I’ve reread the whole thing from beginning to end with the Raws.

So as of the last updated chapter as of this post (54), I’ve relearned who is who and what their roles are in the story lol so I am very sorry for being vague in the initial spoiler posting and not giving clear names. BUT after reevaluation, I’ve found out that the reason the prosecutor (aka guy who’s been raping Lee for the past chapters) get freaked/exposed/karma-ed is because Lee Geom decides it’s time to make his move and comes forward as the victim of the cases he’s been suspected of 1) a rape victim from his stepdad and 2) the suspected murder of his mom. (<— I’m pretty sure the Raws also include how Geom self-reported himself to the police after his escape attempt back at the beginning of his hellish nightmare with Rieder, as some other case that Geom is coming forward with) From there, he exposes the Prosecutor and

all the rape he’s done to Lee, as well as exposing Rieder and his sexclub penthouse (I think) with the past sex tapes that were filmed when Lee Geom tried to use those tapes as ways to communicate with the public that he is a “business major, 3rd year, and is being held captive” etc. (<—Paraphrasing), when he was first being raped by all those people. From here, I believe the Chairman gets nervous because of all the power that Lee Geom has just displayed with getting the Prosecutor and Rieder in trouble with the police and public. And since election for representatives was around the corner, he ultimately decides to send a group of his thugs after Lee Geom to shut him up for good by killing him, so as to not get exposed before the voting. Either that is the Chairman’s reasoning for killing Lee OR he was also exposed in the exposing of the Prosecutor and Rieder and wanted to get back at Lee Geom, essentially taking Lee with him to hell before going to prison or hell himself.
