I love Nishiyama sensei's works..
I believe most of these days anime/manga fan would think that this manga is almost has the same plot and character as Haikyuu!! but not to offend Haikyuu!! fans, this manga was released years earlier than Haikyuu!! So, we can't judge any copyright here, let's just enjoy both manga :)
Anyway, in this manga Naruse and Kiriko made an appearance.
For those who doesn't know who both of them, Naruse is a main character from her other best seller manga "Harlem Beat" and Naruse is a basketball idiot lol while Kiriko is one of Naruse's friends.
It's surprising to knew that Naruse ended up as a PE teacher instead of pro basketball player :< now I'm curious as to what happen to his street basketball team though hoho
This manga has been licensed, that's the reason why they are not updating this manga.
Though in my country, this manga had been published on 2009 (I think?) and has ended gracefully in 11 volumes.
I must admit that this manga became my favourite boy band theme since then. I love Nishiyama sensei's drawings and story plots. I admire her so bad <3
You all should check her other best manga, which is 'Harlem Beat' it's about basketball, and the story were amazing as hell.
I found this in the manga magazine here in my country but even the magazine stop publishing now. And it was wayyy back in 2011 since i read it so it's impossible to read it anymore. Did u buy the original volumes? Do they have English translation?
I don't buy the original Japanese volume..
I bought the one that has been licensed and published by Indonesian publisher company. Unfortunately, they only get the license to translate the manga for Bahasa Indonesia, so they don't have the English translation :(
I cried TT_TT because it was beautiful
not 100% realistic but close to it, and at least we find a manga where each couple and friends to actually TALKING what they have in their hearts, and not suddenly solved by a kiss or whatever sweet nothings. And that makes me in love with this manga to bits ♡♡♡
