I dont like this story very much, I like the theme and I understand those who like it, every once and a while I find myself enjoying the story as well, but theres one huge problem. The villains you like probably have something going on with them, funky design, good musicals, even relatability. But they all probably think there in the right. That's what makes them likeable the fact that there able to trick you into thinking there in the right for split seconds and keep you on your toes. This villian however knows what he is doing is wrong, which doesn't keep you on your toes because you know what hes going to do next and its practically impossible to feel FULL sympathy. Light from death note for example is the villian of his story, and everyone likes him. Because he thinks hes in the right (he also has moral standards and the hero does not, it feels a lot better to watch somebody kill criminals for revenge rather then the entirety of japan) light is able to force you into liking him while 'hero' is not you either naturally start liking hero or you dont like him. I still love this story for the actual hero, and other heroes have absolutely wonderful stories. I in particular really love that one southern sea girl with her dragon lol, I'm going to keep reading for the other heroes but if your going into reading this and you see this comment, do know that there is around a 50/50 chance you will hate the main character or somewhat like him
Why did they do the prince like that? He was faced with something he had never had to deal with and never had to deal with anything close to that before and everyone just expected him to be able to just deal with it? Hes a teenager for goodness sake why are we all expecting him to be mature. He being immature because his father at the moment hasn't trusted him with anything and has expressed his disappointment every 2 seconds. Not to mention the fact that he DID find out the duchess was doing something illegal but everyone just ignored it because it was for the good of others? That's like someone murdering a serial rapist (not in the means of self defense) and everyone just ignoring it because it was for the good of others, that doesn't matter they still took life of another and you cant just forget the law because they broke the laws to do something good. Also the only form of mercy ever shown for him was not sending him to a dungeon yet the duchess and Duke were rumored to have been merciful to him? It doesn't matter that he was immature he was a fucking teenager who wasnt getting any love.
I love you ty for the mass update
