So, I really like the plot idea but let's be realistic. They are supposed to be teenagers not kids. They act like children, very naively. Even if we can clearly see the trust issues they are not suppose to trust anyone easily (as we can see with there family) so I didn't really understand why they trusted the butler, like he's kinda of a random guy that was recommended by the sus duke sooooo yeah. But apart from that I really like the story .
Well, as far as "teenagers acting like children" . . . . my dad was 64 when he passed away, and would act like a 2 year old on occasion up until his death. Age itself, has nothing to do with a state of mind.
I'm not sure if they have trust issues but they have been mistreated to the point of thinking they only have each other... But once u met someone that treats u good and is under the same conditions as u.. Won't u try to trust them since u imagine that they will understand ur prblm.. But keep in mind they are still teens and not all teens have a strong state of mind... If u been mistreated so much and a good person shows up won't u try to depend on them...

So I understand her, she was neglected by her husband, she just felt alone and felt like the baby was tying her up to something in a way. But that doesn’t mean she have to “abandon” her child, think about Vicente, he must have wondered why his mother didn’t like him and no child deserve to be treated this way.
from the dicripttion of her actions it a type of depression some ppl get after giving birth it can be pretty bad sometimes without a profesional help i think she found it dificalut to bond with him in the later years bez of thiv and his cold atitude that grew cuz of that made her hate him more it just gose to show how bad life could get if u go undignosed with omthing likw that
I really feel bad for Vincent but this is a serious psychological problem and it needs to be diagnosed and treated for it to go away. Us reading this, we know how they should treat her kid. When I was a in middle school, I remember some girl on my block getting pregnant and she was like 17 I think. She ended up throwing her baby over a bridge and the baby died. My best friends sister was the one who told us the girl had been depressed and kept saying she didn’t want the baby. I guess this has always been stuck in the back of my head and reading this made me think about that. I guess there are a lot of victims here, the only innocent one is Vincent
i also feel bad for hoe strressed he must be with the sudden change in his mom it must be sufocating for that to uddenly happen having been ignored by both his parents and suddenly having them all over you and i think harsen took out his resentmentt that he hadd for the fL on him a lil too i just wanna cry thinking abt vincent he got blamed for them rushing things by having a kid before they settled there isuess
