The uke was trying to convince the seme to work on something as he is a famous but "timid" artisan.
It was past 20 chapters. The seme found out the scheme because uke's ex-boss or boss is an assh*le.
The seme is hurt because he gave him the chance to be honest, but the uke was a coward and couldn't. But as someone said, they resolve it around chapter 36 or something.
