The doctor will come to Ryu's house and Hosaka will arrived, then the doctor will understand that staying with him is hard and so he will tell him "he will see him some other day" but will not come because he is busy and have some struggle at work (something about moving out I think). Ryu will go see him, they will talk amnd remember a discussion they have in volume 7. Ryu will realise That the love for his step father is not the kind of love he wants. He wants someone that care about him and that will stay with him no matter what. So he will "rise their relationship from friends to boyfriends", but take their time. Ryu will go home and will explain this to his step father and finally call him again "father".
later the doctor will come to talk with Ryu and his step father, he will say I love your son and I want to take care of him so please give it to me. The step father will tell that it is difficult to give such a troublesome son and that the doctor has to really take care of him, but anyway his door will always be open for Ryu and that he will always wait for him. Kissing him at the end of this explanation but the doctor will snatch him away saying "he is mine now".

So here hope it will please some people ! But I am quite disappointed that we did not get to see the doctor and Ryu relationship getting further! But this end was predictable for me especially when we get to see the end of volume 6 with his stepfather saying that one day Ryu will move on! Just bad it needed two others volume to make it happen....
