The shackles nullify the curse onr the blood so I think cuz she had them on, that if she dies, she won't be revived. I could be wrong tho
So why the other prisoners get brainwashed with the shackles on their feet?
Because there's a curse on the shackles. But the blood is also cursed so both curses cancel each other out. Basically when the shackles are on her, they're just regular shackles and she wouldn't come back to life. At least that's how I understand it.
