The hate is deserved. She is writing it so he will be hated. However, he gets too much. There are worst semes that have done worst and never received this much hate. They act like he murder Dan’s whole family or something. It is not the Jaekyung in the manhwa they are hating. I think he hits to close to home for many people here.

I forgot to add my alt theory where Jaekyung would still get angry, Dan leaving, Jaekyung finding out from an alt source that Dan didn't sell him out, try to apologize but Dan becomes inconsolable due to his grandma dying. Dan just resigning to the fact that he's just something to undo the jinx for Jaekyung. And honestly I'll just read the redemption part after that. Like these two needs therapy. God I wanna stop reading but man the drama is real I need to see the end.

Hm, I don’t think he’ll jump for the chance to ream Dan. His expression when he looked at his phone that night is a positive reflection of the other night when he found out about that article. That day, he was coming down from jealousy and soul searching. This time, it’s the opposite, because he’s being selfish and has been for a bit without reflecting on it. Instead of gripping his phone and shaking in anger, he just looks surprised. Not only that, he didn’t say “Doc Dan?” He said “The Director of King of MMA gym?” So his curiosity wasn’t about what Dan might’ve instigated, but that the director is out in public with him. Remember before that the director was using a cell phone to talk to the thugs from his desk, probably a burner so he can cut contact with them if things go south. He usually gets other people to do his work, so having him come out in person, right near Team Black, suggests that Dan didn’t change his location to meet with the director but the director definitely did. Dan also has his PT bag with him, prepared for work, so I feel that Jaekyung can put that much together himself.
In addition, think back to how Jaekyung felt about spying. He had no sense of danger on that front, believing that his expertise will carry him through anything. Not only that, he seems to trust that the MMA is on top of athlete protection, as we learned by him yelling at the MMA bouncers who interrogated Dan. Jaekyung yelled at and warned them, which is what he usually does to cow people, and probably thought little of it afterward. Even if it’s false confidence, Jaekyung wraps himself in his self-made confidence and faces everything head on.
Another thing: Jaekyung has never hit Dan. He’s given out vague threats of violence, but, as we saw in the ring, Jaekyung is well aware of how fragile Dan can be. He really took note of what the doctor said, probably the only guy he listens to for some reason, and became more observant (though his observations weren’t necessarily interpreted correctly) and slightly gentler. If Jaekyung gets mad, I think he’ll simply kick Dan out and cut him off abruptly. But I really don’t believe that will be the case.
When the article about his shoulder came out, he didn’t blame Dan, didn’t even consider it. He went straight to his manager. I think he might do the same here, or maybe he will respond to the text?

Thank you. That is a good theory it could happen like that or it could be a few things that happen like that. That alt source could be Potato. I think that is aligning with what I want to happen. I think for Jaekyung to be humbled is for Dan to break his heart and leave. I want them both to glow up and Jaekyung to grow up.
I don't think the defeat would help in humbled him because that is what is driving him and with his trigger that will only trigger him instead.

Those are good points. It went how TM thought. Jaekyung has never hit Dan but I see a few thinking he has beat up Dan before. People have over-exaggerated Jaekyung’s personality and behaviors but have they believed that over-exaggerating now or simply forgot the story?

From chapter 48, I think he would not simply kick Dan out and cut him off abruptly. From chapter 49, if he does blame Dan, he could but hopefully he listens.
