And when the puzzle became complete i came to a conclusion
The church is evil and the so called 'female lead' was actually a subordinate of the church faking to be the reincarnated magician
They wanted to suppress her mana since she was the real reincarnation and she was a threat
I'm assuming the church knew the condition of Abel
U know he was abused and he has a mental problem
My guess is that they wanted to get rid of our REAL fl abels mom
Since they want the position of the duchess to the fake fl so they can control her and get money
Its what im assuming tho
