hi, i’ve already made a post like this before but i wanted some more feedback and answers, i go to arts school and ive been wanting to make a short webtoon comic. i don’t need to get paid for it but i do want to spread my story with an audience. I’ll definitely post it on here but does anyone else have any suggestions on how to get it off the ground?

Make videos promoting it on Tiktok maybe. Bc some people can gain a lot of traction that way. Most of the ones that pop up on my fyp are more fan fiction based but I've seen a few recommending smaller creators webtoons
A few advices and sorry if you know already or if they are too obvious
Publish both on t@p@s and webtoon. You should try webcomics too (they have less western comics so less competition). Publish on t@p@s a few days (or more) before webtoon. Because readers on t@p@s can give you inks (you have to wait a bit before being allowed to though) so it’s good if you attract committed readers on t@p@s
Post regularly
The format that is the most featured is obviously the coloured, scrolling format (especially on webtoon)
Ask specific questions at the end of an update (specific feedbacks or just random stuffs), like that more people comment
Ask for a 10/10 rating on webtoon as a way to show support
Sometimes do incentives too? For ex, “when I get 100 likes I will post an extra update” or something like that
