First of all NO. Even if they were ugly af, or what I would still think that they deserve a second chance. Chowon should face the consequences of what he did, yes, but depriving him of his happiness and a chance to truly change is wrong. What he did was unimaginable and wrong, and I would never like it if they just consider it as nothing, all that, past is past forgive-forget bullshit, but if you say that Chowon doesn't deserve a second chance that's where your wrong, do you really think putting him in a psychiatric hospital would do him anything good? He would just hate them even more and carry that hatred for a long time. Chowoon deserves a chance, a chance to truly change on his own accord, because if you force someone to change nothing will happen at all, and I think that Kyungsoo will help Chowon realize the stuff that he needs to get done.

Your right with him needing to get psychological help, but a psychiatric hospital, really? I can tell you that wouldn't help at all, just casually leaving a person there to get treated by strangers, in what way would that help? Like seriously.

Mentally ill people that commit crimes don't just room around freely with an appointment twice a week with a psychologist, no, they are taken in a psychiatric hospital instead of prison for x amount of time until they are fit to come back in a society. A person like Chowoon would never get any better with just getting confined in a psychiatric hospital, as I have said his hatred will just grow, + he could literally just fake being okay. But, it's another case if he acknowledges the fact that he needs to go to one. There are a lot of different mental health cases, and each should be solved differently. One wrong move about your calculations on how to solve them will cause a big mess. You should learn more about psychology hun~, plus you calling me ignorant is ironic, because I'm not the one who lacks knowledge here.

If you still can't understand what I mean, then let me explain it more clearly for you. Chowoon should get psychological help. He needs to get one and, a psychiatric hospital could be one but, if it's against his own will then NO. You can force them to get psychological help but, you can't force them to be in a psychiatric hospital, why? Cause getting psychological help and getting confined in a psychiatric hospital is a whole lot different. You can talk them into doing so, but not force them.
