I get that we want the main couple but he’s so cute I hope he just kinda becomes a friend of the main crew and not a love rival
This was way too long but I decided to add to the Enji-Touya-Rei analysis let me know if I got any information long I don’t completely remember some details.
I’m here for Endeavor trying to be better now but oh god I’m worried about how they’re gonna handle the fact that he emotionally abused his whole family. Like Rei probably had some sort of prior issues/ mental instability before she married Enji because the way she reacts to her own children, even factoring in the pressure from Enji, is strange. How I am viewing the situation so far is Rei argeed to the quirk marriage, but wasn’t really there to support her kids. Enji was emotionally distant from his kids, not supportive of Touya at all, and he mentally abused and overworked Shoto (I may be misremembering but I think he physically abused him at some point too). Touya and Shoto got messed up because they spent the most time with their parents which is kinda fucked up. Endeavor is in the wrong for forming this family on these terms, Rei is unstable and since he married her and didn’t support her either it’s in a roundabout way his fault. Endeavor is a nuanced character and you can see he acts a lot like a real person with his own mental blocks and justification to his own actions. But at the end of the day he brought together this fucked up family and fucked the thing up and I summarize his emotional distance, anger and manipulation of Shoto as mental abuse. It doesn’t make him irredeemable, it just makes it very awkward and I hope it works out I see what the author is trying to do but I’m getting all nervous because justifying a bad person is always risky territory especially when it’s with touchy subjects like abusive parents.
Realistic drama, that good push and pull and they’re verses aaaaaaa. I really like this the art is nice and the story was so cute I so wish there was extras or something but I’m alright with where the story ended.
Bendndndb there’s so much bad and stale drama and reasons for the couple not to get together but in this one I feel it so much, like both of them are bad at relationships and don’t know how to navigate this but also they know they want to be with eachother but it’s also scary andnsndnndnfnd I hope there’s a happy ending but I’m invested in this melodrama it’s tugging at my heart strings the right way.
Aaa the one with the coworkers/boss (2nd one I think lol) was so cute. I love tall ukes, but a shy unsure seme is even cuter <3
With all the messy/rushed first times and sexual assault it’s kinda refreshing to see a cute nervous couple. Although I usually don’t go searching for the fluff couples so it makes sense I don’t find them often lol. It’s just nice that both of them felt vibes with each other and just went together nicely. Also this is maybe the first (formerly) straight uke I’ve seen that didn’t fight about being on bottom. Lots of cute stuff going on~
I’m for this kind of messed up consent because at least there’s no last minute happy ending it’s just fucked up to be fucked up and that’s hot to me lol
