I’d like to think that she didn’t went back to her parents but worked earnestly for a few years, thinking she’s going to spend her whole life atoning for what she did to her sister but eventually, an upper middle class commoner man fell in love with her, she repeatedly rejects him because she thinks she doesn’t deserve him or only likes her because of her looks. She eventually falls for him and live a simple, humble life. That’s just my fannon haha
