But in this life they were the victims of abuse since the start so no matter what circumstances made them that way to not trust someone who abandoned them since their birth and left them to their abusive mother and maids. One more thing in most of the other isekai comic people know about the story but this wasn't case here. Other protagonist were known about the situation to survive but this different as it is completely different life to live agai without knowing any future.

How do people expect them to get over the trauma in a second. I personally have trauma and finally got out of the toxic environment but truthfully my mind is still there its hard as fvck to realize that it's different and that not all people are bad. We're looking at the story through the twins' perspective, if you actually put your attention on the story rather than skimming through like this was a booklet, then you would understand. The twins don't trust anyone else with exception of Riolu. They have a little bit of faith in the second prince because he actually knows how to communicate with them.
