I never liked Kiyu’s mother in the beginning since she has been overbearing and dictator to Kiyu’s life due to her inferiority complex and financial situations back then. Some may have chose to excuse her as such, but she is still an adult foremost. I cannot exactly forgive or forget Kiyu’s mother’s actions just because things were hard back then because it made an impact to Kiyu’s childhood regardless. However, I am actually glad that her mother is seeking a psychiatrist to stop herself being overbearing to Kiyu and started to admit her wrong choices as an adult to Kiyu in the past. I still do not like her yet, but I just hope that Kiyu’s mother won’t be the cause of Kiyu’s demise in thus story’s climax in the future, seeing that her character’s development is positive..
