Ended Chapter 8 and skipped to the latest chapter (19), and I can’t help but feel that the original owner of the body deserved another chance at life. His death was the result of a misunderstanding, and no one truly cared for him. He died believing that no one would mourn him.
Even after skipping to Chapter 19, I still don’t know all the details, but it’s clear that the ML actually loved him deeply—so much so that his death left ML in misery, guilt, and regret. I saw a comment saying that bringing him back would be selfish, but I’m not sure I agree.
