Yeah it mostly about her and her dad their is some "romance" but it's not really the focus if u read the novel that does expand more on that but regardless it's still a good read
There is romance between Athy and Lucas but it will develop towards the end of the story

Not so much double standards but desensitization and separating the genres. In BL, there’s so much of it, readers are not surprised. It’s so common, many readers have become desensitized to it or else they may suffer mental effects from it. In straight romance, such things like SA are heavily frowned upon and many are not used to it as it’s not common (at least in big romance stories, excluding straight up bad hentai with bad plot). Either way, there will always be people who call out SA regardless of gender.
FACTS, such double standards like Jinx has higher rating and there much more violence in it compared to this one. Honestly, the double standards are real. It’s not right how he is treating her or how she’s treating him but its crazy how low rating it has.
