This is cute at the same time kinda tragic for the spirit inside the doll. When the spirit said "i will scare them and they will throw me again" is kinda hurting. For me, its like every time people will see the doll they will just either ignore him or throw him cause of his appearance. Then finally someone loved and took care of him that's when the spirit finds peace and felt love.
