It’s an old one but Gerard from the older yaoi Gerard to Jacques was a design and character inspiration for Astarion’s character. They sort of have a similar haughty, foppish demeanor and tragic backstory that made them the way they were.

I remember reading this years ago and I dropped it because I felt so bad for the wife. Can someone summarize what happens here? How does this end? I think the wife died so I definitely won’t be picking this up again but i am a bit curious as to how it ends
