OMG!!! Tatsumi and Senzaki were never a part of the damn game. The fact that this couple had their own messed up world is what made an impact with me. But this end i can not agree , tatsumi suffering has just is now an open end. Hmmm.. just a thought , i know all readers ship Azusa and karino, i still wonder what would happen if Karino and Tatsumi come close ( keeping in mind they both are the same boat with a shitty family ) and Azusa becomes more stronger and independent and move away with his mother... JUST a thought!

Cos it feels though Azusa and his relationship is based on force , they do connect emotionally, As much as Azusa denies it , it feels he still keeps coming back to Karino. Well there is emotional abuse angle also but sometimes we humans behave in certain manner where categorizing behavior as rape or abuse becomes difficult
I feel the same. That's why this couple is so interesting. They have such an abusive relationship but you just know, as the reader, that there's some love in them. It's just buried beneath pride, amusement, the game, etc. I feel they both know each other's feelings, but they're just heavily influenced by their roles in the caste game.

I heard that the manga has started as a piece of original fanfiction wrote by Oriya around 2012 which evolved in manga in 2015. So my guess is that Paperheans is the illustrator here. For everyone loving or hating the characters, guess the author has really bowled you all. Good work if it can evoke such strong emotions. In reality such crimes have taken place Dahmer , Charles Sobhraj or Moor murder. Psycopath killers do exist in society amongst us living normal life. Ignorance is bliss is proved in this writing. I am quiet enjoying this story
