This webtoon slighlt different than the novel in the season 2 imo
for example, in here when the emperor says to the empress that "you're probably the only wife that will send her husband to the concubine" happens at the party, but in the novel it happens at the garden after the emperor was given alcohol that contains aphrodisiac by Rosemud because Rosemud wants to have the emperor's baby. The emperor who has already in love in with the empress runs away and met the empress in the garden while still horny because of the aphrodisiac. The empress then says go to Rosemud and the Emperor replies, "you're probably the only wife that will send her husband to the concubine". So in here "send to the concubine" meaning s3x not just a company. Anyway, the Empress ended up sleep with the emperor out of duty as an empress. Cause if Emperor doesn't have s3x he can't calm down. It is officially become their first night.
There are also many other variations that is different to the novel so maybe the spoiler that I've been given before may be different later when put into the webtoon. They are probably try to make this kids friendly idk...

Yeah this scene supposed to happen much later but I remember that the emperor says this sentence when he got drugged by rose not at the party so I say that probably the webtoon is not following thoroughly with the novel. I also remember the scene where the empress eavesdropping rose and january and then the emperor come to bring her scarf was not originally from the novel. I think in the webtoon the emperor falls in love with the empress faster than the novel...but I could be wrong since I've read this ages ago.

- Rosemud will try to sabotage the king's birthday celebration (I forgot which celebration bc too many) and the empress has to give a flower as a gift for the emperor but Rosemud change the flower that the empress brought to the one that give trauma to the emperor, however the twin sist manage to change the flower and those twins have a talk and the Empress figured out that her twin sist remember the past as well.
- Rosemud will get death penalty because she tries to kill empress for the second time. The empress fake the evidence for the court because the assassins killed themselves before being questioned but the emperor doesn't care at all cause he already loves the empress so I think he trust her.
- Before, the death penalty Rosemud tries to get help from Duke Epherny's Mistress, January, but January cut her ties with her. January will later get kicked out by Duchess because the Duchess found out that she has been r*ped by Duke Epherny (Because Epherny used to be a baron and he wants a higher title cause the Duchess used to be Marchioness like the Empress) and Duchess is so mad that she kicked both of them (as she should be) out of the house and family register. January and her child leo will become homeless and a beggar (still better than being death)
- Rosemud will get "phantom pregnancy" before the death penalty because she really wants to believe that she is pregnant to avoid death punishment. But, it's impossible because the Empress gives her "infertility perfume" cause the Empress was so upset that when she found out she got choose as an Empress because she is infertile. So, it's the Empress revenge.
-Empress will want to get a divorce after rose's death but the emperor begs him to stay. Emperor will be Empress' simp basically.
- Then because the empress still believes that she is infertile she ask the emperor to let in another concubine but this concubine is being a bitch to Empress so Emperor divorced her and later they have 4 children 1 son and 3 daughters (triplet).
-Regarding the Empress' infertility result at the beginning. It is a fabrication by the doctor because the the Duke's Daughter (Other Duke I forgot the name) doesn't want to become the Empress but because she got the highest score of the exam. The doctor needs to fabricated the result so that one of the participant is infertile (the truth is all of them are fertile) and that participant is the Empress, she got randomly choosen to be infertile
- In AU: Rosemud become the empress but because she spends to much empire's money then the aristocrats planed a revolution to take down the empire. In the revolution war to take down the empire both Rosemud and Emperor dies.
