"I know you like me".. I don't know but this phrase hits hard. Not because Eddie is being overconfident but because he was aware of the other's feelings yet pretend to not notice it. One thing I learned in reading yaoi is that being straightforward sometimes help, but in this situation it didn't. It wasn't a question neither a confirmation. It is a statement that is being playfully said, without the consideration of other party's feelings. Who would want their liked person to know their feelings without them saying it properly right? Unfortunately it did not end as a second hand embarrassment but an insult and a triggering factor for his forgotten anxieties. Be strong big guy! Assholes do have good faces
What if the weird Aura the uke was seeing was actually his personality or more like his other personality. I'm guessing that these auras has to do with personalities. So same aura or personalities do tend to click with each other.. Now I'm seeing something black when he the other guy's aura was flashed in a moment, what if it's his dark side or the dark side of his personality. Two sided meant two sides of people? Just my guess!
What's unique about this piece is that, it didn't give off horror vibes. I mean clearly the mcs are both involved with drugs, girls, guys, etc. Yet I don't find it as weird or as a story with a "hair-standing" vibes. The story is unique, still crazy, obsessed but yet it's undeniably sweet. The story line is out of ordinary and the way perspectives are shown in a different angle makes the reader feel the uke's emotion more. I hope they will continue the building of emotions and feeling because readers really love that!
One panel shows how Hyesung hold Byul's hand and squeeze it. I think it was very symbolic, like he's telling Byul he'll be okay and that Byul doesn't need to worry. I think the reason why Hyesung unintentionally "avoided" Byul is that he doesn't want his own circumstances to affect the child. Like he was trying to deal with the pain alone so that people around him won't suffer or so he thought because he was causing everyone to worry. My point is that simple squeezing of hand is enough proof that he really miss his son but isn't ready to open up yet. He don't want his traumatic past shape and influence his present self to the point that he might do something bad again to Byul like for once he left him right? But really he really wants help and cannot properly express what kind of help he needs. There a lot of people like him and some succumb to the depression and end in suicide cases. I really hope he can patch up the holes in his self.
I don't think I ever read a seme who actually stressed that the uke is his man at all. I mean being called "mine" and "lover" hits different of course. But I gave huge respect to the seme who recognize his lover as HIS MAN. I just think it's very unique and very sweet knowing the how this SEME claimed the Uke like that.
I honestly think this is the starting point of SH's development. It's not easy to change from one character to another one in instant. It could take days, months, and years even in real life. But as I said just SH in this panel with his eyes that speak a lot is a starting point of the character development we've been waiting for. Looking back at previous chapters his eyes are always furious, conniving, anxious and crazy as I may add. This chapter spoke a lot as I think his eyes was more of hoping and kind of relax and relieved. I think this time it is because he was learning to acknowledge his feelings. But the sad part is I think his starting to be territorial. The message for NK's sis just proved that he would kill anyone who will took NK away from him. Well let's just hope this goes on for the better.
Well I have read a numerous stories with assshole semes but this is too much. Hurting someone physically is one thing. But hurting him emotionally even socially is too much. If this is real life, the uke would develop trauma and maybe PSTD from everything that happened to him. But yes, I'm not angry towards the author or anything but I think the plot should improve a little bit. The seme is not a psychopath to begin with and that's what really is disturbing because he's more than the psychopath seme's I've read.
--------Seme having conversation with his other self scenario----
Seme: "Oh! I;m jealous, he's having a blind date with a beautiful girl!"
Few moments later.........
Seme: "Oh now I'm more than jealous that it turns out it was a beautiful guy!"
(Well good for him! Now he's threatened more ( ̄へ ̄)
