Ok, so I'm on the side of liking the new art style. I'm definitely going to miss the old one and completely understand why others would drop this bc of how drastic the change is, I was very confused when I saw it too. It's a completely different feel and Yea it's jarring with how drastic of a change it is, but I find it to be very pretty despite the characters not looking like they did previously. It's a different artist, doing a different thing, and that's completely fine especially considering the original artist is struggling health wise right now. I would rather the story continue with the new artist than force the author to postpone their story while their readers, us, debate and complain about the art. Of course I'm not saying we as the consumer don't have a right to complain, I'm saying we should give the new artist grace and understand the circumstances behind the changes. I mean, we're reading it on a pirating site guys lol I'm actually really tickled by the irony lmao. Well anyways, ye!

Actually there's a lot of perrallels with FL and ML in Zenshu and Penelope with Calisto. I say to yall give it a watch in the meantime while waiting for more Pencilo content.!!
Guys, im not chapter 96. Is there ANY progress with the FL and ML yet? If not im thinking of dropping this because the whole perfume things is just dragging on and on and I came to this story with the hopes of a wholesome romance between a low noble/commoner and emperor duo. I was not ready for a supposed slow burn.

I mean, it's kinda obvious that it would be a slow-burn with how things started ( the emperor tried to seclude her at the beginning)

Personally, I prefer it that way. When the romance is rush, I find it boring and 'bad written' but it's my opinion.
Yeah, I guess I'm just so used to the MCs in stories like this to both be showing they're head over heels by now but hiding it(for the plot). We already see the emperor falling, and fl every now and then showing a hint of it for his disguised self. Slowl burns are not for the weak...(i am the weak.) But ima stick around a bit longer, because regardless of how I perceive it rn I gotta just lock in or something lol Don't wanna miss potential peak
