There's a film called "Maurice", and it's a gay film but I'm not sure if it's in Victorian times. I think it's in the Edwardian era, and the MC is struggling since he's gay and being gay is illegal. Oops, I think I overshared, but it's a good movie tho! It's my favourite! :)

OMG, only one bl. Mostly of the bl's I read are angsty so I can't recommend more bl. But try those heteros. Hope you'll be okay. Actually I have already experience something yours where in you got emotionally invested by a story. Mine, I was invested in one story for a year and a half that I am unable to read anything else. I still am obsessed with it but I am now able to read other things than that story. And these stories kept me occupied. You'll get through it.
