This is a nice take on how his past is catching up to him, yes we had other sad moments as he (re)growing up, but he isn't perfect, he never was and he never will.
I think this will mark the start of his REAL healing, not just by "fixing" his past, but by confronting it and mentally heal from the plaging anxiety that plagues him all the time, and then it will stop shackling him. ┗( T﹏T )┛
