"everything goes into his mouth!" yep, as someone who took care of my sister when she was young this is sooooo real lmao! and being upset for stopping them from doing something stupid like eating dirt

Yeah they learn the whole world through their mouths, like a little shark . It’s so stressful because you could look away for a second and next thing you know they have a mouthful of something dangerous and they don’t understand that it’s not safe. Also I think kids just assume much of the world is edible. Moon made of cheese, Anything brown is chocolate flavor, etc. it’s probably disappointing finding out that most things aren’t.

also, what Rider said is such an eye-opening moment for me. I got so caught up in my rage from Chapters 21 and 22 that I forgot the earlier chapters. Even after constantly re-reading from Chapter 1. I never really realized it until now: until he met Rider, Mori was travelling alone. He was all alone with nothing but his bag, Miria's letters, and his bravery and determination to find his Mom. He doesn't even have food with him. In fact, the scary thing is if he didn't meet Rider, he would have been dead by Chapter 3. Even then, Rider wanted to leave him because he saw Patch's mark on Mori's cape but again, through sheer determination, he clung to Rider's motorbike and that's how their journey together started.
His love and determination for his Mom literally kept him alive. That's how much he wanted to meet his Mom.
BECAUSE AIA IS MORI'S SISTER, DAMN IT!!!! AHHHHHHH MY FUCKING EYES WON'T STOP CRYING
