If this will end with Yuna breaking up with Joy, just because of Dahye, and Joy being heartbroken but wishing Yuna and Dahye all the best, then counting working alongside her, seeing her being happy with Dahye, but still remaining like a saint, then I'm gonna be so mad. I can't even care less about all this mess these two have caused, but Joy has every right to get mad at them. Like seriously. I actually hope she will leave, find a better girlfriend (maybe Jooyoung lol) and never ever meet these two.
Oh, Dahye, I don't hate you but this is bullshit. Why should she like you ffs? You didn't show any romantic interest in her, so why?!!! What did you expect?? I understand it's hard to be in love with your friend, but stretching it out for ten years? Just why?? This is why I wanted Yuna to move on. To not be involved with this kind of bullshit. And since Yuna is the character that can't move on and this seems to be the typical first love wins story, our poor Joy is the victim to this drama between them. At this stage, Joy isn't even a character, she is literally just a tool to make Yuna and Dahye move their asses after 10 years. Unrequited love skill? More like Fuck Joy Skill. She loves Yuna and doesn't know about this bullshit happening around these two. Yes, Yuna and Dahye, get finally together, since your BS is only hurting everyone around you. You should have done this years before.
Anyway, I saw it since the first chapters that Dahye is the endgame, so nothing unexpected, but that comment seriously pissed me off. I want to see the situation from Dahye's view and understand her better, so hopefully they will cover it in the next chapters. And I kinda want Yuna to at least get mad at Dahye's BS.
....But I'm not prepared for a breakup with Joy.
Stop being a closed minded Joy and Yuna shipper. Joy is not a tool, she is a character. Joy was there to comfort Yuna, and even gave Yuna the love she’s never received before.
Coming out is not easy either, especially when you think that you’ve gotten forbidden feelings. Which is why many people are saying Dahye was doing. She used guys as tools :) She used them in hopes of getting rid of her feelings with Yuna. Obviously it didn’t work.
Yuna never hinted anything towards Dahye either, how did you expect Dahye to be brave enough to consult with her? Dahye showed lots of love towards Yuna too, maybe not romantic love, but love. No matter how much boyfriends she gets she’s always thinking about Yuna.
The 1st boyfriend we saw, she dumped him because he was bothering Yuna in the classroom. The 2nd boyfriend was asked on a double date because again Dahye thought about Yuna, and she ended up dumping the guy, the 3rd boyfriend Dahye wanted to buy a car just so she can pick Yuna up from drinking parties. Even with all of her boyfriends she thought about Yuna. Even with all her boyfriends she wanted to hang out with Yuna most. So go home.
Why do you think I am closed minded shipper? I think I clearly said I want to see the story also from Dahye's perspective. While I didn't ship her with Yuna, I liked her as a character. Also while Joy is a character in this story, but without her, Yuna and Dahye would probably never ever confess their feelings and go out or whatever. (maybe some other character could have replaced her, but that would be only Joy number 2).
And I blame both Yuna and Dahye for being this way. Causing so much drama and dragging even others into it. It's not easy to be a lesbian, but what they were doing looks just stupid to me. Especially Yuna because we saw her perspective, I don't really want to judge Dahye in this regard yet. While it's true that I am inexperienced in love, but freaking 10 years. Move on. Your friend is straight. (in her eyes) It just bugged me so much that she didn't try to do anything about her feelings. Let's just stay in love with Dahye for the rest of my life. That's how it looked to me. When Jooyoung appeared, at least she tried something, but nope, she was still clinging to Dahye. Although, at least she let Jooyoung go quickly. And I agree Dahye showed Yuna her love, while probably not romantic (or idk since I don't know the whole story yet). I considered Dahye to be a good friend, just some of her actions rubbed me in a wrong way. These things were, however, Yuna's fault for allowing Dahye to be doing whatever.
But these things are just my opinions and I want to read the whole story to get the proper view. I might see things differently after seeing the Dahye part.
However, as I said in my original comment, what pissed me off was Dahye's question: "Why is it her and not me?". Like sorry, but this is such a horrible question. If my friend asked me something like this I would be greatly disappointed. But since this question came because of an emotional outburst I would believe they will apologise later. That doesn't change the fact, that how is one even supposed to answer this kind of question? Sorry, but this way Dahye comes of just as a very selfish person. And that's why I believe Yuna should at least get mad at this kind of attitude. So yea, me being a "closed minded Joy and Yuna shipper" is mainly just being angry at this question. Also for Yuna not telling Joy about Dahye and being so wishy-washy. But that's not important now.
All in all, the way I see it, both Yuna and Dahye are at fault here, for being cowards and making stupid decisions. Joy seems like a victim of their drama right now. Yes, the characters are flawed and humane, doesn't excuse dragging others into this mess. I hope Yuna will properly apologise to her and regret it. As long as they learn from their mistakes, I can let go of these matters. I am curious about the rest of the story and hope for all the characters to have a conclusive and happy ending. So I am trying to stay positive with the story, see the whole picture and be accepting as much as possible. I just really didn't like that one question.
WTF, she is dumb af. Could have just apologised to Yuna, it's not like she did it intentionally. And since Yuna is actually nice, she wouldn't say to other employees it was her. Now she is just gonna be in more trouble if someone finds out (especially Joy) she threatened Yuna. Srsly, there were many better ways to resolve this situation but she had to choose the worst one. Go back to school girl, there are still many things you need to learn.
Why does it feel like all these Joy x Yuna scenes are something temporary? AS if the author is just tempting us with the candy they won't give us.
I don't hate Dahye, but I would prefer if she and Yuna stayed just friends. I just really want Yuna to move on. Staying 10 years in love with one person is too much. Your first love isn't everything. Dahye isn't a bad friend, although I don't like some of her actions, they happen mainly because Yuna allows her to do whatever she wants. Dahye isn't a bad person and I want more character development for her, but her being the endgame doesn't seem so nice to me. I might change my mind, it's just that I don't like the trope of waiting your whole life for your first crush to love you back.
And that's why, give me Jooyeoung romance~ Since my Joy x Yuna ship doesn't look steady I want something more stable.
I really don't want Dahye to end up with Yuna. Not even because she is a bitch or whatever, but being in unrequited love for 10 years... First love is not everything. I would like if Yuna moved on. For all I care, Dahye can turn out to be a lesbian, bisexual or whatever, but to fall in love with Yuna? Eh, whether I want it or not, this will happen.
Couldn't Joy x Dahye and Yuna x Jooyoung be the endgame? XD
Anyway, I don't care about Yuna's partner that much, I just want Jooyoung romance so bad.
How can this be just so damn cute?
