I don't remember much but the novel is about a man (gong) saves a drowned man (shou) at the river near his village. If i'm not mistaken, the gong is a high officer or something at the village. But he's so poor because he keeps spending money helping others. The shouw works at the gong's house to repay him for saving his life.
This story is really sweet and fluffy because the shou is clearly not ready to involve in anything romance but the gong was so patient and he really cares about the shou.

Hi sorry this is not related to manga but I have been searching for this one novel forever. I don’t remember much but the novel is set in a world where there are marriage system that will determine their partner that they have to marry and I think they can say no to it but have to pay something like a fine. Then these two guy got paired and if I’m not mistaken they are both from military and the uke got hurt on one of his mission and required a blood donor. That’s all I remembe since the story got licensed and the team stop translating the novel.
