he’s so gorgeous oml, usually the author’s idea of “cursed monster” is markings around the skin and weirdly shaped pupils, long nails and horns (or a tail) if being extremely gracious. it’s…disappointing. I mean I understand that nobles would definitely consider that horrendous, but to us readers we’d like a more creative approach, like this one. infinite seafood dispenser?? yummy.
I am a bit sad that the curse broke that quickly, but I guess his gorgeous human appearance will be useful to slap back her stepfamily in revenge. bye bye hot husband monster, you will be missed. but I do have to admit his human form is pretty divergent from the usual ml look already. good, good.
i mean, if you have nothing to do, and want some short, ‘satisfying’ revenge manga then go ahead. but i didn’t really enjoy it. ok, queen dies, little bro doesn’t even CRY, fiancé is a cheating piece of crap who likes fierce women. and then she just forgives them both?? also the villains are so fucking obvious from chapter 1. thought there would be some eye opening shit but no, it really was the guys hinted at the beginning. honestly the biggest surprise was that home girl was killed THRICE. ok, amazing timing you guys have there.
that’s all I have to say about it. would have been way better if that creep of a fiancé died like he had to. (why are you shrieking at your fiancé’s execution? he smiled at your corpse at your funeral! are you still the same idiot queen?!)
She didn’t forgive her fiancé though? She divorced him and made it clear that she views him as trash. The only reason she agreed to sleep with him for that night was because she was hoping to troll him one last time by having him wake up next to her corpse - power move honestly.
Kinda agree that the little brother shouldn’t have been let off that easily, but from her point of view she had 10 days to make sure he became a viable king so she didn’t really have the luxury of wasting time by giving him the cold shoulder. Maybe after she realized she wouldn’t die, that would’ve been a more viable option.
is it just me or do the eyes not look incredibly fucked up in some panels….especially when it’s background characters.
